I booked this hotel thinking it was close to the airport. Well, maybe it's close to Linate, but sure isn't close to Malpensa. Also, they 'seem' to advertise a shuttle to the airport, but it wasn't true in my case. The hotel is close to Stazione Centrale, but not to Cadorna, where you get the train to Malpensa. I found the website to be very misleading. My room was small and none too clean. I would not recommend this hotel, nor ever want to stay there again.

Well, I just returned from a week trip to Milan... Concerning the hotel, it is spoted pretty close to the city centre (Duomo), about 20 min on foot. It has a couple of metro stations near it (5 min) and a nice view of an arch. It is very clean, the personel is friendly and speaks english, while it is equiped with 2 PC's with internet connection available for customers. On the other hand, I think it needs better maintenance as well as a bigger elevator!!! Paying 70 euros per night, I think it was a pretty good choice...

The staff at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are a little small, but very European and added to the flavor of the trip. Hot breakfast in the morning was also very nice. Hotel is very close to the subway. 30 minute drive to the airport, but the hotel staff made the arrangements. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I would certainly recommend this hotel as a place to stay for a short trip to Milan. It is very conveniently located near tram and train stops, a few clubs and restaurants nearby and a very decent pub 2 doors down. Otherwise, it is in the middle of the business district and therefore fairly quiet. Journey from the airport was around 20 minutes. We actually walked to the shopping streets on day one (took c45 minutes strolling) and took a tram to the Piazza Duomo on day 2 which was easy/straightforward and quick. We took a cab back from Duomo which was Euros 6. Amazing for shoppping. Don't waste the 6 Euros to enter the breathtaking cathedral in Duomo unless you want to take a lift to the top and walk down. Entrance to the main area of the cathedral is free. I stayed in a good size room (twin bed) on the 3rd floor facing the front. Some of my friends stayed on the 1st and 2nd floors in(single) rooms facing the back. Those seemed to be darker and smaller - even though they were single. My friends also suffered from noisy teenagers who ran up and down the corridors most of the night on our first night knocking on other guests' doors. Management didn't do anything to stop them. Our booking was bed & breakfast. B/fast was continental and good selection but not the best quality. Fine if you're leaving at the crack of dawn for a flight. The pub 2 doors down does a lovely selection of food/sandwiches if you arrive around lunchtime. The hotel staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Rooms were clean (had read reports to the contrary before I left so was expecting the worst). I can't complain about this hotel and would definitely stay there again.
