We stayed at the Vittoria for only one night, to catch our flight back to Pisa at Trapani airport. Surprisingly modern, good value for the price, spacious room, friendly staff. Easy parking for our rental car. We took the bus to Erice, great place to spend the afternoon since there was not much going on in Trapani itself.

Hotel Vittoria is a great base for a short trip to Trapani - it is a short walk to the bus station, a short walk to the old part of town where the restaurants and shops are located.
we were given a lovely spacious room with a great view, rooms were clean and cool.
Trapani is not a very exciting place - a couple of nights there is more than enough!

Very nice hotel with a great central location and huge public parking lot (free) across the street. We were able to leave our car there for the 2 nights that we were on Favignana Island with no charge! It is only about a 15 - 20 minute walk to the ferry pulling carry on size bags. The hotel staff is very helpful and friendly. Delicious breakfast and wonderful contemporary art. Rooms seem to be recently renovated and very clean.

Wonderful Hotel Vittoria

We booked the Vittoria for two days in October, 2007, but extended to four days because we were enjoying ourselves so much. The manager at the front desk was extremely helpful with maps, bus schedules, and restaurant recommendations. His assistant, Adrianna, speaks excellent English and was most helpful in directing us to some of the local attractions. The room was large, clean and comfortable with a view of the sea. The breakfast was a buffet with fruit and pastries, ham, cheese, cereal, about anything you could want. After the first morning, the waiter remembered our espresso and cappucino preferences and brought them without being asked.
All the local buses are a two-minute walk from the hotel. Bus #21 goes right by the funicular station for a ride up to the medieval town of Erice. The small buses, #10 and #11, which are free, go to the old section where most of the best restaurants are, as well as to the spot to catch the hydrofoil to the island of Favignana. We particularly enjoyed wonderful food and service at Le Mura. When we found Le Mura we had arrived thirty minutes before their opening time. The maitre-d' Dario graciously gave us each a glass of wine to pass the time on their patio overlooking the ocean until they were ready for guests. Our dinner was one of the best we had in Sicily.
The long-distance bus station and train station are an easy walk (about 2 blocks) from Hotel Vittoria. We took a bus to Marsala, had lunch, and returned by train. Trapani and Hotel Vittoria provided an excellent base for exploring this beautiful area of Sicily.
