Excellent location. So close to Rialto bridge I walk past it a few times. Very convenient for travelling to the main bus station. Water bus stop very close. Was struck by the completely different atmosphere of Venice between day and night and this hotel was perfect to sample this. Room was clean and tidy but the beds were narrow. Breakfast was satisfactory. A free water taxi was provided to Murano and this was great. Value for money depends on what you paid. I booked it with my Aer Lingus flights and it included 1 free night. One month earlier and the stay would have been 2 or 3 times the price!!!

My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Rialto for 2 nights and the location couldn't have been better. Its just feet away from the Rialto Bridge and right on the water. We had a great view of the Grand Canel. The rooms weren't the best, small and not 4 star but its Venice and everything is small.

How's this for convenience -- the place is at the foot of the Rialto bridge on the Grand Canal. There's a water-bus stop mere steps from the front door.
Best room, best shower of our entire Italian trip. Breakfast is included with the room. The buffet includes bagels and cream cheese, cereal, cheese, fruit, ham, hard-boiled eggs, milk, and yogurt. Women working the breakfast room will bring you cappucino, espresso, or tea. Across the Rialto bridge are several touristy restaurants (which are very convenient if you're a tourist). The Rialto is on several water-bus lines, including No. 1. The location works well for getting to the main attractions of Venice: La Fenice opera house, Murano glass factories and shops, and St. Mark's Square.

Very nice hotel!
Good staff, good breakfast, very clean, good furniture. Location is super for walks. One of 3 bridges on Grand Canal, Grand Canal – right here opposite the door, San Marco – 5 minutes by step, La Fenice Opera – 3 minutes.
There was a window in toilet!

Arrived by Vaperetto to the door of our hotel from the train station.
It was so easy! The hotel was in the best location looking onto the Rialto bridge and down the Grand Canal it does'nt come any better than this. The room was amazing with a large chandelier in the middle and silk wallpaper. The furniture was of the Venezian style very elaborate. The whole place was fantastic if you are after the Venetian experience. Breakfast was good. The staff were very helpful and organised a daytrip to Marano to the glass factory for us. The veiw from our room was extraordinary but it did come at a price!
