My husband and I stayed at Bonanno for 3 nights in July before return in UK.
Reservation office very helpful, nice room and good price for value.
When we chekin, they gave us a special discount for the restaurant. Really appreciated that!
The 2 ladies in the reception desk were sitting in 2 chairs in front the computer, and seemed to prefer playing games than answer to our question.
The lift in the morning was dirty, "hands " on the mirror, and the sweat smell was not so attractive!!
The room was quiete small, but with a big bed. Not a fresh smell when we went in!!Just parfume hiding the cigarette smell. Big towels, used toilet paper, really poor bath set!
They cleaned our room very late in the afternoon, and in a very quickly way...
The restaurant was nice, the food delicious.. We enjoyed the free Happy Hour in the bar.
What i really didn't like was the sadness of the staff, everybody full of stress, and without smile to the guests.

We just returned from a four days in Pisa. We choose the Bonanno cos is close to the Tower, just 5 minutes walking.
We had a room on the second floor, looking the back of the hotel (parking and residencial area). The room was ok, good size and perfect for us. It seem to be clean, but it was not!! The carpet was quiete dirty, you couldnt walk without shoes..In four days of our stay, they didn't change sheets, and the dust of the first day kept us company till check out. Same thing for bathroom!!
The Restaurant was very good, fantastic food as in all Italy. The staff was very friendly especially Massimo. Breakfast buffet was great, perfect to start the day. Relaxing the bar area in the garden with a drink after a long day walking..Reception staff was very nice. The staff helped us in all our silly question:thank you Marco and Pasquali.
Overall I will stay here again, the hotel it's a good start for Tuscany, near the Airport and the train station. Good point the free car parking!!

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights along with our 11 month old and some friends. It is in a great location for visiting the Leaning Tower as it is only a 15 minute walk away.
Our room was quite nice and a decent size.
We didn't think the food in the hotel restaurant was up to much, although the breakfasts were okay.
The reception staff were disinterested and quite miserable, but the waiting staff in the restaurant were friendly.

My 23 year old daughter and I recently stayed one night before a return to the US after being up in Cinque Terre/Rapallo for a vacation. Correspondence was with the hotel directly and they were very helpful in their emails to me-only wish the actual hotel reception staff had been that way as the two women at the front desk seemed to be inconvenienced by any question when asked at checkin.
Hotel is literally in the middle of nowhere-right by train tracks and a highway under/overpass. There are no restaurants, grocery stores, etc. anywhere in the area and the "miracle field" is quite a walk especially in the heat of the summer.I cannot begin to say how disappointed I was in the location for this hotel to do anything in Pisa-could not even get a taxi. to get to a restaurant. Our taxi ride from the Pisa train station ran us 10 euros for two persons to give you a clue.
Our hotel room would not change from 24C(temp) for the A/C despite having maintenance come up to look at it. Pisa and Italy were having a heat wave so it made our night's stay bearly tolerable. Room was standard with two twin beds, sat TV.minbar and safe. Bathrroom was good size with hairdryer but nothing special.
Breakfast buffet is decent-standard cereal,eggs,pastries,juice,on request coffees,etc.
Would I stay here again-probably not if I wanted to enjoy anything in Pisa.
