not a five star hotel and the food is below average.We spent extra on top of our allowance to eat in the italian restaurant every night as the buffet and greek options were not good.Vegetarians not looked after. Rooms good.Beach pleasant.Charged 22% on top of everything. Water expensive and not included at meals.Boring at night with little to do.Excellent for diving and bad tummy.Isolated.

My husband and I have been in Egypt for 4 years and have stayed in a lot of places. This is absolutely the best hotel we have ever stayed in! The food was excellent, the staff were the most friendly and helpful, and the resort itself is beautiful and very well maintained. I'm not sure why people said the cleanliness was not good - I checked the bathrooms per other reviews and found nothing wrong with them, private or public. For a "do-nothing" vacation, this is definitely where to stay - nothing to do but lay at the pool or the beach, or sit in the (very nice) English lounge. Prices were no higher than they are in any tourist resort in Egypt, and I enjoyed our stay there more than any hotel in Sharm el Sheikh.

A small glass of wine costs nearly 5 pounds....and the staff are not very helpful at all. There is literally nowhere to go outside the hotel so don't expect to see anything of Egypt.
