My husband and I stayed at this hotel for one night, we were not even at the hotel for 12 hours! We embarked on a cruise the following day from Venice.
We flew into Treviso and boarded the Ryanair bus to Mestre Train Station and were relieved at how easy it was to find this hotel. It is located right across the road from the train station and no more than a two minute walk from the Ryanair bus stop.
The hotel was quiet, clean and suited our needs. Breakfast was very good - a lot of options. The coffee wasn't spectacular as it just came from a machine. We really do not have complaints about this hotel.
As others have stated there really is not anything in Mestre at all. But, it is just a short bus or train ride into Venice and well worth the savings to stay out of the city...............

Wow! Where to start. Right now they are in the process of redoing the front facade (No one actually working but the scaffolding is there). The hotel is situated across from the rail station on a noisey main street. Although I had a room in the rear with the splended view of a garbage ridden lot, I was able to still hear sirens and loud bangs (fireworks at 2 AM). There is absolutely nothing to do in the hotel or surrounding area. We had twin beds when we asked for King Size (they said they had them but were not available for our tour).
The food was OK, breakfast not like had expected, cheap and stingy. Coffee was bad, even the local espresso. The staff was "dead" with not personality. Place is great if you arrive at 1AM and leave at 5 AM. I would not recommend to anyone who is going to Venice. Stay inside the City, the only way to see Venice.

Perfect location for not actually staying in Venice. Yes the rooms were small, but clean, open windows and a nice bathroom. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was good. Nice buffet of fruits, meats, juices, etc. If you are visiting Venice you shouldn't be stuck in your hotel room, therefore this hotel was perfect.

Well, what can you say... the location is good. Right across from the Mestre railway station, it is a quick 10 minute ride into Venice. As well, the airport bus stops across the street.
The rooms are clean, tho small, and the breakfast is basic but filling.
The hotel is 80% full of bus tour traffic (Globus) so a bit noisy in the morning as they all get up for the day.
Not much emotion in this review, well, because the hotel has very little emotion in it, other than it is across the street from the train stations.
Inexpensive, at least...

This hotel is a great base and is great if you're not planning on spending much time in it, which you probably won't when you see Venice itself. It does have a great location, right across the road from the train station which takes you straight into venice in about 5- 10 mins. The trains run frequenty until just after midnight. The bus that brings you in from Marco Polo airport is also 200 yards from this hotel.
Mestre, where the hotel is located, isn't pretty and is very industrial, so don't expect a great location that the hotel is in.
The room was clean, the breakfast was OK, but please be aware it doesn't compare to a 4* hotel in Britain; in terms of home comforts and furnishings. However this I understand is often the case with italian hotels.
If I was going back to Venice I would stay there again due to it's travel access.
