This hotel was worth the money we spent for just the quietness of it which was surprising. It is very near the main railway station and transportation hub, so it was quite convenient for us as we were in Naples only as a starting point for the Amalfi coast. The room was sufficient, however the shower spewed water from the top and wet the whole bathroom everytime we used it. We were there 2 days before the Amalfi coast and 2 days after in order to fly back to US. The breakfast could have been a little better and the last day we stayed (they had just changed the name of the hotel and we saw new employees), there was a girl working in the breakfast area that looked like she had lost every friend she ever had. She never smiled one time and acted like we were bothering her just by being there. Other employees (desk clerks) were quite helpful though. Overall, we would probably stay there again because for the money and convenience of location. Oh, and by the way, Naples was Naples--not half as bad as everyone says. Garibaldi area was fine also. I don't know what everyone expects Naples to be. It was what it was and wouldn't be Naples any other way.

This hotel is a mistake for a traveler. The hotel has no elevator and the locks on the doors could be opened by a 10 year old with a plastic card. The neighborhood was one of the scariest I have ever seen. garbage is piled everywhere and there were wild dogs roaming on the streets. My wife and i stayed there one night and got very little sleep because we were afraid for our safety. We pushed our suitcases up against the door to try and keep out any problems. We would never stay at this hotel again.

This hotel was pretty much as we expected. As many others have said, it is in a dirty and somewhat, shady part of Naples. In saying that, we walked home at 10-11 on both nights and never felt threatened. I would recommend this hotel if you are planning on travelling out of Naples for part of your tripand will be using the train/bus system We had a full day Amalfi tour arranged which left from the Central station and we also used the train station in order to go to Pompeii. If you are focusing on Naples itself, I would recommend staying in a hotel within the Piazza Municipio area.
The room itself was clean and we had enough towels. The breakfast was the usual continental style but with a nice coffee bar. However, bring your own toiletries or buy some locally, as you receive sachets of pretty horrific shampoo/shower gel! Additionally the minibar consists only of 2 bottles of water and there wasnt' a safe. I would say it was a two star rather than a three star hotel, as i would expect a lift, a room safe and a proper mini bar in a three star hotel.
But all in all, we weren't going to Naples to spend lots of time in a hotel.
