we stayed for the New year's eve weekend, and used a special offer booked here www.roomsaccomodation.com with no extra to pay. the hotel is really amazing look like a museum or something like that. comfortable beds, very good breakfast and a nice staff always redy to help. I would reccomed it if you're not looking for something too central but you prefer to stay in a lovely and luxury hotel with decent prices

The hotel was ultra modern - a tiny bit cold due to the type of decor and furnishings but still comfortable. It is true that the menu is a little limited and with being located so far from the centre (a good trek in a taxi!) it was neccesary to eat in the hotel at night if you didn'y want to have to trek back into the centre after a tiring but enjoyable day of sight seeing. The staff were friendly although one of the waiters in his monk style outfit was a little scary! Breakfast quite basic but did the job!

Nice service, and breakfast. nice looking rooms. only complaint was it was a little bit of a pain to get back into the main tourist area each day. not reccommended if your time is limited and you dont want to pay a taxi to get to city every day. otherwise u need to train and bus it everyday, thats like an hour each way.

Aspetti positivi: - l'albergo e' in una zona molto tranquilla, lontana dal caos e dai rumori del traffico. E' circondato dal verde ed e' dotato di parcheggio; - a chi piace soggiornare in ambienti cool dal punto di vista del design trovera' nel Black hotel il suo habitat: cura per i particolari, arredi di famosi designer, gusto per l'estetica al 100 %; - le camere sono pulitissime, bene arredate, con pavimenti in legno, lampade di design, biancheria di buona qualità; il bagno è dotato del necessario, doccia enorme, sanitari costosi e bei rivestimenti; - il ristorante è eccellente, atmosfera soft, offre piatti della stagione e propone anche serate a tema (durante il mio soggiorno una sera è stata dedicata al tartufo umbro) prezzi antipasto circa 8 euro, primo circa 13 euro, secondi dai 15 ai 20 euro, contorni 8 euro, dolce 8 euro; - ottima e abbondante colazione, sia calda che fredda, ampia scelta e qualità; - atmosfera rilassante e charmante; - no dress code; - nei pressi dell'hotel c'è il supermercato Panorama, sempre aperto, fino alle 21.00. Aspetti negativi: - l'albergo è molto distante dal centro di Roma. Offre un servizio di navetta alla stazione metropolitana più vicina (Cornelia) ma solo due volte al giorno, di mattina e per sole 7 persone! E' rischioso raggiungere la stazione metro a piedi in quanto bisogna camminare su una strada tipo tangenziale molto trafficata e non munita di marciapiede! O si prende il taxi (costo circa 10 euro) oppure l'autobus (246 o 247) (biglietto costa 1 euro, valido anche per la metro), la cui fermata è sulla tangenziale (5 minuti a piedi dall'hotel su strada senza marciapiede ma non trafficata); - sul sito dell'hotel c'è scritto che le camere sono insonorizzate mentre in realtà non lo sono affatto!; - le camere sono piccole e alcune al piano interrato; - nei pressi dell'hotel non ci sono ber, ristoranti o locali. Ho letto che qualche turista ha avuto problemi con gli addetti della reception. Io invece li ho trovati gentili e disponibili.

Far away from the center, but cheap. Staff helpul. Good breakfast but the restaurant has a short menù. We stayed there 2 nights but the did not changed the menu. The main problems are that the water in the bathroom is not too hot and the hotel has a nice terrace but not a garden.
