We stayed here for 2 nights-great location, good sized rooms and good customer service. Only drawback is that our room was right on the plaza so the magnificent church bells of both the basilica and the cathedral went off every fifteen minutes. All day and all night. Other than that it´s great-totally central and v friendly staff.

We spent 2 nights at the Las Torres this week, mainly based upon the enthusiastic review posted on this Website, and combined with a friend in ZGZ telling me the location was good.
Well, the location couldn't be beaten. Simply stated, it's right on the Plaza Pilar and we had a [very small] balcony overlooking the front of the Basilica. And we only paid EU55/night.
But that's where our enthusiasm ended. The room was tiny. The bed comfort was average. The staff attitude was pleasant but nothing special. Very noteworthy was the fact that the towels were like sandpaper. We both commented (laughingly) that it actually hurt a little to towel off after a shower. We joked that maybe they were laundered that way so as to dissuade people from stealing them!
In sum, if you're looking for an inexpensive place to sleep while exploring ZGZ for a few days, the location and price of this hotel was very good.

We've stayed at the Hotel Las Torres twice, in 2001 and in 2003...the first time because of the location overlooking the Plaza del Pilar.....and the second time because of the location AND the great staff, balconied rooms overlooking the square, and the resonable rates.
The rooms aren't very large, but are well-appointed and have large balconies overlooking the plaza.
They don't have a website, but we made our reservations by fax both times and have been very pleased with the courtesy and professionalism of the staff.
