Small hotel in this suburb (Pozuelo de Alarcon) of Madrid. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the restaurant was not bad. My rate included a continental breakfast which was not bad (breads, parties, yogurt, fruit, cereals, juices, and Spanish Tortilla). The rooms, however, are traditionally European: very small and sparse. My room did not even have an alarm clock, which was frustrating. The bed was very hard, which I suppose is better than too soft or worn, and I am glad I brought my own pillow as the one they provide is a flimsy imitation. The room was clean with a small TV with limited channels including a few in English. I was able to catch the bus down the block that takes you to the Metro terminal where you can then catch the Metro into Madrid.
