Although the location of the hotel is not near to the centre of Moscow and the sights around Red Square, it is only 2 metro stops away which was not as inconvienient as we first thought.
I would not recommend walking from the hotel to Red Square due to the distance, but if time permits it may be an option.
The checkin staff were very friendly and made every effort to speak english but appreciated the basic Russian I could provide.
The room although small, was very comfortable with a minibar providing complimentary basic snacks. The room attendents were courteous and professional.
The breakfast buffet was as good as any western hotel.
The location of the hotel is within walking distance (5 minutes) to Paveletskaya metro station which is also the departure point of a direct train service to the Domodevedo Airport.
Will stay here again on next visit.

This hotel was booked for me through my company for a business trip. for the price (8500 RUR) I was expecting something nice, but basic. What I got was something OK, but basic. My room was absolutely tiny and reminded me of a travellodge. There were hardly any toiletries in the bathroom. I had to phone reception to get an ironing board to iron my shirt for a business meeting the next day. This hotel was handy for my meeting as it was close to the office I was attending but I would not recommend for tourists as it is a few metro stops from the main attractions.
What is excellent about this hotel is as follows:
1. Very friendly and professional staff - all speak excellent English and are very helpful (which is unusual for the Russian service industry)
2. Free Financial Times available at the bar
3. Excellent breakfast - very tasty with a choice of fresh fruit / pastries or cereal and hot food. Good coffee. Best choice and quality of breakfast I have seen in any hotel (including western hotels) for a long time.
4. Great river views if you are on one of the top floors

I stayed here during a business visit to Moscow. We chose this because it was close to our event and the price was lower than some of the other chains.
The staff is nice. Everyone speaks english well. I speak only a little russian so that was helpful.
Breakfast is fantastic. A buffet of meat/cheese/bread and also some american-style things like scrambled eggs. The coffee is strong and good.
Everything is expensive - cappucino was $8. But that seems to be the going rate in Moscow right now.
The location is a real plus. It is walking distance to the subway. It is also walking distance to Paveletskaya station where you can catch the train in and out of Domodedovo airport. There's a good pizza place right down the street.
I would stay here again.
