Just got back from Tallinn. Had a great time.
The hotel is in an ideal location 2 mins walk from the centre of the Old Town.
The rooms are spacious and hotel is very clean and tidy.
Would recommend to anyone.

We decided to take advantage of the lower prices in Tallin compared with Sweden and Finland and to stay in a somewhat more luxurious hotel. The Baltic Hotel Imperial did not disappoint. Our room was spacious and nicely furnished, and the large, modern bathroom featured a huge bathtub. Breakfast offered the usual spread of food, but served in more pleasant surroundings than usual: a comfortable and spacious room of the hotel restaurant.
The hotel is located along the old city walls (in fact, the wall ran down one side of the corridor leading to our room) at the foot of the Toompea, making it convenient for tromping around to the sights. It did prove to be a somewhat longer walk from the ferry docks than we had expected, and I would advise taking a taxi if you're not feeling up to a brisk walk with your bags. If you do walk with luggage, don't go through the old town and its confusing maze of cobbled streets -- make your way around outside the walls where you can stay on modern paving!

Charming hotel on the edge of the old town area. Staff friendly & the reception was run very efficiently.
Tastefully renovated to blend into the old town wall.
However, an important part of a hotel stay, are the beds. I found the beds here, uncomfortable, not supportive & had a very thin mattress. Also no wardrobe to hang your clothes-just a 25mm piece of copper pipe with a few coat hangers ! The beds & the "wardrobe" are the things you expect in a two star hotel, not 4 star. It's a great shame as the Baltic Imperial has the potential to be a fantastic hotel.

We decided to book this hotel after reading reviews on trip advisor and weren't at all disappointed. Our stay was over a weekend outside the peak summer season so we weren't troubled by noisy passers by.
The hotel staff were friendly, the breakfasts were good and our room was spacious and comfy, with very a comfortable bed.
The hotel location was good - very close to the main square, but not too close as to be disturbed.
This location was the perfect base for a lovely city break.

Great Hotel in an Excellent Location

This is a really nice hotel centrally but quietly located. I have seen other reviews criticising breakfast but when I was there it was great.
Staff were pleasant and helpful.
The room didn't have a bath which is perhaps unusual for a four star hotel
