Aquarium
Right next to the zoo entrance, the Aquarium boasts many freshwater and salt water animals as well as crocodiles, insects and spiders.

Reichstag
It was erected between 1884 and 1894 in the Italien High Renaissance style. After reunification of th two German states resumed its sessions in its new convention hall after it was massively extended and redesigned. An imposing feature is the cupola.

Adagio
The TV-Tower, 368m high (higher than the Eiffel Tower at 320m), symbol of East Berlin, was based on an idea by H. Henselmann. The viewing platform is at a height of 203m. Above this there is a revolving cafe.

Alexanderplatz
Alexanderplatz, or "Alex" for short, is still a centre of Berlin. Alexanderplatz was named after the Russian Czar Alexander I., who visited Berlin in 1805. At the time, it was a market and parade ground before the gates of Berlin.

Badeschiff

Olympiastadion

Philharmonie

Schloss Bellevue

Schloss Charlottenburg
Schloss Charlottenburg itself was the summer residence of the Prussian kings. Together with the guard barracks opposite it is one of the museum centres in West Berlin.

Siegessaule
The youngest shopping mile of Berlin calls Friedrichstrasse. The 3.3 kilometers long dead-straight north south axis experienced an unusual rebirth after the fall of the Wall.

Velodrom

Zoologischer Garten
