What can I say, I still talk about our visit here! I have many photos of the dirt and holes in the carpet etc. I have travelled through many cities Europe, USA, Australia & NZ and this was by far the worst. It needs to be completely updated, and a good steam clean. The staff were friendly and seemed unaware that the hotel has seen better days ( about 20 years ago). I really wanted to change hotels and really should have. But who wants to have to do that when you have limited time in Rome. I rated this hotel as terrible because dirt can be avoided,and for the money it cost they could at least clean it.

It said it was a 4 star hotel, but this was more like a 2 verging on 3 star hotel.
The room was nice and big - but was NOT getting cleaned properly every day - it was actually rather dusty, and we found hair in the bed?!?!
The soaps/gels were not getting replenished every day - and the cake of soap used on the first day, was still there on the 3rd day.
Decor was very out of date, there was not one piece of furniture that matched another, the mirror was broken(!) in the room, walls were starting to look grubby and there was NO info pack (Im guessing there was no room service, we had no idea what time breakfast started/finished)
Overall, for the price ?230 per night it was very expensive, though I'm guessing this reflects the location...HOWEVER, it does not merit a 4 star hotel.

We were delighted with our room. Large room for the 4 of us (2 adults and 2 children). Bathroom smaller but perfectly useable. Perfectly located withing walking distance of all that we would want to see and do. Breakfast with meats, rolls and fruit was perfect start to get us going. Staff was very helpful and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and the hotel only added to that.
