The ANA has an excellent location in the center of Hiroshima. It’s just 5 minutes walk to the Peace Park and atomic bomb museum. The main restaurant/shopping area is a 10-15 minute walk.
Our room was comfortable and quiet. It appeared to have been renovated recently.
This is a large hotel and it has a very standard "international" feel to it-- not much local color or personality. However, the location makes it a decent choice for a night or two.

Definitely one of the Top 3 all-around choices for Hiroshima... the hotel is very much Japanese in terms of style and service, which means... STYLE: yes small bathrooms and small rooms in general, but quality fixtures with dark earth tones, comfortable beds, awesome shower, internet was free if I remember correctly... SERVICE: expensive but decent food options (try and find a rate with meals included), definitely no early check-in but free luggage storage... I speak Japanese but English-speaking staff seemed readily available...
The location is good enough... a stone's throw away from the Peace Park entrance but kind of at the outskirts of Hiroshima's night life (which would be the area near the Parco mall)...
Researched many hotels and rates and found this hotel to be the best combination of value, luxury, amenities, and location...

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for one night. The hotel was ideally placed in that we were able to walk to the Hiroshima Peace Memorial and Museum in about 10 minutes. We took the scenic route along the river. The hotel is also about a 10 minute walk to the shopping and entertainment district.
The reception staff were all very polite and spoke good English so check in was quick and easy. We had a lovely view of the Peace Park from our room (number 1732). The room was larger than your average Japanese hotel room. The room was very clean and the furnishings were modern and comfortable. There was a flat screen TV and free internet access.
The bathroom was somewhat small but had a good supply of toiletries which seems to be the norm for Japanese hotels.
We only stayed one night so did not have the opportunity to use any of the facilities. We also dined out so did not use any of the hotel's restaurants. The main restaurant always seemed busy though and was full of locals which must say good things for the food served.
