Just back from a 2-day stay and very pleased with the hotel Christian IV. Very pleasant and friendly staff, spotlessly clean, excellent bed and bedding and power shower and a wonderful position near to the delightful Rosenborg park and 5 minutes walk from the centre. Much nicer and quieter spot than many other Copenhagen hotels. Although no air-con, was comfortably cool in hot weather. Room small and paintwork slightly shabby but these were outweighed by the plus points. Nice breakfast room and good breakfast (and tea, coffee, fruit, pastries available all the time at no extra cost). I would definitely stay there again and recommend it for a (for Copenhagen) good value stay.

After deciding to carry on through to Copenhagen, rather than spend a night in Hamburg, it meant that we had no accommodation arranged for a Friday night in the height of a Copenhagen summer. I was dismayed that the better-priced accommodation in the city was all fully booked, but relieved that Hotel Christian IV could accommodate us. I felt that our unexceptional - but pleasant - room and bathroom were not great value, but appreciate that this comment can be levelled at most accommodation in Copenhagen, which is a very expensive city. Staff at this hotel were friendly and helpful and I was impressed by the plentiful, varied breakfast. Free internet access is provided, which was a nice touch. I also like the location of the hotel - it's in a pleasant area, a short walk from sights worth seeing.

There were 3 of us in the room; one on a roll-away. All three beds were comfortable. Excellent breakfast; free coffee and tea in late afternoon, free internet access. It was very close to the "walking street" (shopping area) and to other sites. It was quiet and we found some good places to eat in the neighborhood. Staff was very helpful. A fine place to stay.

Me alojé en el Christian IV por dos noches por negocios, y me pareció que ofrecía una muy buena relación calidad-precio. Copenhague es una ciudad cara, así que fue genial encontrar un lugar acogedor y cómodo a un precio muy razonable. El personal era muy servicial, y había acceso inalámbrico al Internet, lo cual era una fantástica ventaja. La habitación estaba bien – muy pequeña, pero tenía todo lo que necesitaba – aunque lo único negativo fue que la puerta no era muy segura. Tenía una cerradura normal, no tenía una Yale o cerrojo. Me sentí segura, pero no me entusiasmaba mucho el dejar mis cosas de valor en la habitación durante el día. Tenían un buen desayuno, y en las tardes, ofrecen bebidas calientes y bollos gratis. El hotel está excelentemente ubicado, a cinco minutos caminando desde Kongens Nytorv y Nyhavn.
