After my stay at the Economy Inn in Winnemucca, Nevada it was asolutely the best!!!! Clean, no insects alive or dead!! Stayed here on the way back from Las Vegas, Was quite pleased!!

Sadly, this is not the hotel for any American with any disability to even consider staying at. While they allow pets, this hotel refused to comply with the Federal American's with Disabilities Act (ADA) by refusing us free access with our service/guide dog. As innkeepers, as well as a public establishment, they have a duty as an American business to respect American laws. There are no city or state laws which release any business from the responsibility of respecting a Federal law of this great United States of America. Unfortunately, the situation could not be resolved as we could hardly understand the dialect of English the management was attemping to speak. Therefore, we were forced to go elsewhere. We were, however, warmly greeted by the Holiday Inn Express Hotel and Suites on Fillmore Street, in Twin Falls. which is completely ADA aware. Disabled Americans... "beware."

Where do I start? We stayed at this hotel several years ago and liked it well enough to make reservations again. Never again. We checked in late--the point of making reservations--and were put into a corner room where there weren't enough parking spaces to park by your door. OK, we could deal with that but then were the dogs. This is a pet friendly hotel which is OK if you like pets. We don't. I'm allergic and our room was full of pet hair. There was a dog show in town and nearly every room in the hotel had dogs. There was a truck full parked in front of our room and nearly every other room in the hotel. Add to that a very loud air conditioner and bathroom vent, a sink and tub that didn't drain, advertised Free Internet service which turned out to only be available in few rooms, a broken refrigerator door and the simple annoyance of not having a space to put your shampoo while you shower. There were no other rooms available so we suffered through. Management was kind enough to refund 25% of our 2 night bill for which we were grateful.

Best Western's are a hit and miss proposition and this property is a miss. One arrives at the BW after passing 4 or 5 old motels from the 50's, only to discover the BW is also an old motel from the 50's -- charging very modern rates. Pluses: The room was clean and the management was gracious about relocating us when our next door neighbors started yelling at each other. Minuses: The wifi didn't work in our room (we were told we needed to ask for an "internet room" to guarantee a functioning connection), the coffee maker spit hot water out of it's basket, and the toilet barily flushed. In the end we felt the experience was not what we expected from the Best Western brand.

property looked run down and never remodeled since first built. room seemed clean, but washcloths were placed on the toilet bowel. didn't risk using them. came close to getting burnt in the shower when my husband turned on the hot water for the sink. the check-in and check-out were very friendly and efficient. breakfast o.k., coffee pretty good. still....would never stay again.
