i have been in paris for a business trip in april , i am from china shanghai, this is my first time in paris, really i found this hotel is nice, it is situated in a nice quator, near to some important resorts and palais du congr?s, the staff is warm and very helpful, cause it zas my first time in paris so they gave me much of helps. the hotel is very clean and the price is nice, i recommended really this hotel

we are a young couple came to europ for the honey moon, we were so lucky choosing hotel prince monceau as our hotel in paris, this hotel is situated in a nice residence area, so calm and in security even return back latly in the night, the hotel is open for 24 hours , the most important is that the hotel is closed to each resorts of paris, 10 minutes to the champs elysee, 10 minutes to opera....... and it is not expensive at all, the room is so confortable and nice, we feel always at home, it is a 2 stars but we feel as in a 3 stars hotel. the staffs are warm also, they can all speak more than 2 languages, we can always get any tourist informations as we want, they really helped us so much, frankly speaking, it is really difficult to find a hotel not expensive but with a excellent service quality as hotel prince monceau , but we did, that is why that we felt so lucky and so happy to choose this hotel, we recommended really this nice hotel

Nice place, just like sweet home! I stayed in there for one week last month. The room is clean, the services are good and the fee is reasonable. the best of all is...it's very convenient to go to downtown from there. Now I'm back in Beijing with good memories. I think it's a good hotel to choose for your staying in Paris.

Stayed for 4 nights to watch England/France rugby match. Rooms were small, but clean. Breakfast usual rolls & croissants. Bit of a drag climbing 4 flights of spiral staircase to 4th floor(there is no lift). Free internet access in lobby. Very cheap ?240 for twin room 4 nights B&B. Pleasant area with good value bars & restaurants, 20 minutes walk to Arc de Triomphe, 10 minutes to nearest metro. No complaints, budget hotel & you get what you pay for.

Well this was the only part of my trip to Paris I was worried about from reading previous reviews. I gave it the benefit of the doubt but was a little disappointed. The room (106) and bathroom were small and the walls were paper thin. We could hear every conversation from neighbouring rooms and from the staircase. Also mentioned before no lift just an old staircase. The bathroom only had a shower cubicle which was very difficult to manouver in and a bath would have been nice to soak in after a day of walking around Paris. The hotel is close to a train station which is good to get around Paris quickly. The area itself seems more like a residential area so had to walk a while to find a lively area. Breakfast was as expected for the money but was decent enough. It wouldn't be somewhere for us to stay again but ok for anyone on a budget.
