My husband and I stayed here in late June as part of a one week trip around Sicily. This was our favorite hotel of the trip, for many reasons. First, each member of the staff goes out of their way to make guests comfortable. The front desk was extremely helpful and the breakfast buffet was the best of our trip. We would love to return to beautiful Taormina , and will stay again at the Carlotta

We were at Villa Carlotta in the beginning of June with another family. All I can say is it is one of the best hotels we have stayed at in Italy. The staff was exceptional, from the front desk to Maria in the dining area! Our room was very spacious with a very large patio that we shared with our friends. The view from our room was the sea and mount Edna. Who could ask for more! We had teenager's that loved the location - 10 min. walk to town and they were able to take the cable car to the beach. I can't say enough about this hotel, I don't think anyone would ever be disappointed in the location, rooms and service. What hotel brings clean towel's in the evening without asking for them! This is a place that when you come home all you can do is dream about the great reading room, dining room and awesome catacomb bar! We are so looking forward for a return trip.

The hotel is pretty and the breakfasts were splendid with amazing views. The service was good but they forgot a couple of things which prevented them from being great i.e. promised bottle of champagne gave us cheap wine However having read all the other reviews i really was expecting more. It is a pretty cramped hotel with a tiny pool. In my honest opineon there are nicer places in sicily than taormina - so maybe my taste is off compared to the rest of those who are providing reviews for this place.

We have finally returned home from a mammoth trip to Europe and we have to say, that the highlight of the trip was staying at Hotel Villa Carlotta in Taormina, Sicily. After being on the road for so long it was like going home. Even though the hotel was simply superb, it was the staff that really made us feel at home. This was so important to us as we were travelling with a young baby. The staff looked after our every need and we can highly recommend this hotel not only for couples, but for families as well. The location of the hotel is perfect, the outlook is stunning and the way you are treated from the moment you walk in the reception door is a credit to all the staff. We loved every minute...the only disappointment is that we aren't there now!!!!
