My husband and I booked this hotel for our two night stay in Naples because the info on the website said it was only 1 kilometer from a metro station and close to the train station. Well, once we arrived to the central train station in Naples, we had to take a metro for about 10 minutes and then go out of the metro station, walk approx. 0.5 miles to the above ground train station (which by the way, there were no signs) and then take that train for about another 15 minutes to the stop close to the hotel. Upon getting off of the train, we were in a very run-down section of Naples with lots of graffiti and very dirty. Luckily the Space Hotel Nesis was across the street but when we tried to check in, the man behind the desk in very broken English said that there had been a problem with the reservation and he was going to take us to his other hotel. I had read about some hotels having a second part to them that wasn't attached to the original building so we followed him to his car where he loaded up our stuff and off we went about 2 kilometers up to street to a completely different hotel called Hotel Delle Terme Agnano. After this man argued with the people behind the desk at this hotel for about 5 minutes in Italian, they gave us a key, wisked away our bags, and before we knew it we found ourselves in a room. The room at the second hotel was very nice, quite large, and the bed was very comfortable. So we decided we would be fine and just deal with it. Well, unfortunately, we decided to eat at the hotel's restaurant where I got a horrible case of food poisoning and then upon checking out of the hotel, we were told that the price per night at this hotel was about $30 less a night than what we had paid for to stay at the other hotel. All of these circumstances may be due to being tourists and not speaking the language but in any case...we should have been a room at the original hotel we had booked through Expedia and had paid for. So we are passing this info on to any future travelers to be aware and DO NOT stay at this hotel. Make sure the hotel you choose is in the heart of Naples or at least close to a convenient train station.

Inoltre l’hotel era piuttosto vicino all’autostrada.

We are two adults and two kids and we were trying to find a place to decamp for one night before we drove onto Pompeii and Erculano. On the plus side, the hotel was quite nice and clean -- with a secure parking lot, helpful staff and a good restaurant. It was also pretty close to the autostrada. You could certainly do much, much worse in the Naples area.
The downside is the location. It is almost absurdly bad. The hotel is tucked between a commuter rail line and a steel mill that is being torn down. The general neighborhood is also run-down and, if not dangerous, then at least intimidating.
This is a fine choice if you want to find a comfortable place to park the car and get a decent meal and clean sheets. However, understand that this is not a place where you will be exploring the neighborhood.
