Very good hotel, very good location
Guest name: Mattinbrum, Birmingham
This hotel is situated within reach of all Copenhagen's sites and close to some good restaurants. We found the hotel to be spotlessly clean and our room was small but well equipped. We booked a twin room, but were disappointed that my Mother and I were expected to separate the double bed into two ourselves! (the hotel barman did it for us in the end).
The breakfast was very good with a huge range of different foods; we were embarassed though by many guests who saw fit to carry off enough food for the rest of the day (as much as they could carry!).
I would recommend this hotel and in a fiendishly expensive city it represents reasonable value.
Nice, quiet hotel

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights, and honestly I thought it was wonderful, but I must agree with some of the others that during the morning it does become rather noisy. The rooms are a little on the small side, however still fine for two people. The bathroom is spacious, with a big bath tub/shower combo.
The location of the hotel is amazing, puts you right in the center of the city. The hotel staff were warm and friendly, and always ready to help you. The breakfast was wonderful. I would recommend it to other travelers and feel safe that they would enjoy their stay.

Excellently situated hotel, facing the waters of city canals. Just a five minute walk away from the bustling center, full of people, restaurants, shops and entertainment. Helpful, friendly staff. Breakfast could offer a wider selection, but it had all the usual selection of cereals, cheese, pastry and eggs. Been there for 4 days on a business trip. Can't say anything bad.

Guest name: CopeLondon, London
I booked two standard rooms at The Strand, a twin and a triple for two nights. The triple room, which I think was a superior room, was on the front of the hotel with lovely view over the waterfont. A decent size with a sofa, fabulous bathroom with twin washbasins, tea/coffee facilities and the comfiest beds I've come across in any hotel! The twin room was much more basic and without a view to speak of but perfectly adequate.
Breakfast was plentiful...eggs, sausage, cereals, yoghurt, pastries, many different breads, fruit, cheeses ham etc etc!!! No trouble in getting more fresh coffee and beautifully clean tables. The hotel is very quiet and exceptionally clean and in a great location. The metro direct from the airport to Kongens Nytorv takes about ten or twelve minutes and it's an eight minute walk to the hotel. Boat trips from Nyhavn are around the corner as are numerous restaurants and bars. Copenhagen is very expensive in comparison to London..be warned...but very safe apart from Christiana which I wouldn't recommend visiting after dark!!
A lovely hotel run by very helpful staff. It will get my recommendation.
