Nice hotel, but very far from downtown. Surrounded by concrete jungle of post-soviet buildings.

Great Hotel!!!

The Hotel was excellent. I found all of the staff spoke English including the maids. Breakfast was included with the room, and the Hostess explained all the Russian Breakfast dishes to me. Of course they had cereal, bacon, eggs, etc. also. I can eat that in the US. The "Herring Under the Red Carpet" for breakfast was excellent, even though fish for breakfast didn't sound too appealing at the time. I ate dinner in the hotel one evening, and all the food was excellent. The staff was very cordial and helpful.
The room was clean and spacious with a bedroom, bathroom, and a study area with a desk. My room overlooked a large street with the electric trolley buses whizzing by. The lounge was also excellent. I give it a two thumbs and two toes up rating. :-)
Very nice!
