La decoración de todo el hotel es bonita. Hay mucho mármol. Tuve dos camas individuales. Hubiera preferido tener una doble. Es el mejor desayuno que hemos tenido en cualquier hotel, y nos hemos hospedado en unos cuantos. El balneario estuvo absolutamente relajante. Fue un lujo verdadero. Una noche comimos en el hotel la noche de la barbacoa. Estuvimos impactados con el precio, ya que estuvo tan caro. Aunque la comida estuvo buena, no hubiera pagado esa cantidad por ella. El hotel queda en una colina empinada, y tardas como 40 minutos en llegar al centro. Recomendaría un coche, o espera pagar muchos taxis. La piscina exterior era encantadora y de un buen tamaño. Me volvería a hospedar aquí.

My family and I have recently returned from a two week holiday at the Grupotel Valparaiso. We had an excellent time and would overall recommend the hotel. On arrival the first thing we noticed was the view from the room. It was fascinating, views stretching along the coast, the airport, central Palma, and all the activity at the harbour. If you are reserving a room I would suggest asking for a sea view from the fourth floor above. It really was fantastic. The room itself was of a decent standard; large, clean and well equipped. I would suggest, however, that the rooms will soon need to be refurbished because ours did look quite worn and aged. The food at the hotel was of a good quality. Breakfast was enjoyable with a large selection and free newspapers. We also ate at the pool bar and hotel bistro and were impressed at the quality. The selection of dishes here, however, was quite poor and we would have preferred slightly more variety. We travelled on a B&B basis because we like to try other restaurants. Palma has an excellent choice of restaurants and we would particularly recommend the area of Genova, which is a 10 minute taxi from the hotel. There are some very popular restaurants here that serve excellent meat dishes. We tried Meson C’an Pedro, Casa Jacinto and Meson la Rueda, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The staff members at the hotel were pleasant, helpful and professional although nobody really excelled. Certainly the poolside staff members were friendly but we were annoyed at the attitude of one particular head waiter at the bistro who seemed arrogant and unfriendly towards us. The pool was the particular attraction of the hotel for us. There are two large pools set in well maintained gardens. It was quiet during September and there was ample sun bed space. It was a nice place to relax for two weeks. The hotel is located up a large hill within an average residential area. It took us around 40 minutes to walk along the waterfront to central Palma but there are many cheap taxis around. Palma is a lovely city with palm-lined avenues and interesting architecture. It is busy but a good setting for a holiday with many shops, cafes, museums etc. We also walked 10 minutes from the hotel to the Porto Pi shopping area, which is worth a visit. It is likely that we would return to the Grupotel Valapariso because we really did enjoy our holiday. Nevertheless, there are minor issues that prevent it receiving full marks. We had to carry our own suitcases to the reception on arrival, there was no information booklet in the hotel room, and the lack of choice at the restaurants was disappointing. These are relatively minor points on the whole but do detract from our overall enjoyment of the hotel. However, I would recommend the Valparaiso to anybody looking for a relaxing holiday within a city setting.

Recientemente regresamos a este hotel después de una ausencia de nueve años, y lo encontramos mejor de lo que habíamos recordado. Desde nuestra última visita, una nueva área de piscina en los jardines remplazó el viejo lago. Este lugar tiene instalaciones excelentes, inclusive un restaurante que abre durante el verano. Teníamos una habitación grande y un balcón con vista a la Bahía de Palma. También había suficiente espacio en el armario. Encontramos al personal amable y servicial. El desayuno bufet fue excepcional, y también almorzamos unas cuantas veces en el Poolside Bistro. Cenamos en Palma, ya que hay una selección tan grande de restaurantes, especialmente si te agrada el pescado. Aunque el hotel queda a unos cuantos kilómetros afuera de Palma, es muy accesible. Hay buses con aire acondicionado que paran afuera, y el centro queda a 15 minutos por la fabulosa cantidad de 1.10 euros. También hay una parada de taxis. Tuvimos unas vacaciones maravillosamente relajantes, y planeamos regresar tan pronto podamos. Lo recomiendo sumamente.

Decor nice throughout hotel - lots of marble 2 single beds - would rather have had a double Best breakfast we've had from any hotel - and we've stayed in a few! Spa was absolutely lovely and relaxing - a real treat We ate one night in the hotel at the BBQ night - we were shocked at the price as it was so expensive! Although food was nice I wouldn't have paid that amont for it. Hotel is up a speet hill and takes about 40 mins to walk to the centr eof town. Would recommend a car or expect to pay for lots of taxi rides. The outside pool was lovely and a good size. I would stay here again.

No es barato, pero es un hotel de cinco estrellas que por primera vez merece esa clasificación. Pagamos por un suite junior, pero las habitaciones estándar son excelentes. El desayuno bufet estuvo excepcionalmente extenso y hermosamente presentado. El máximo atractivo son el trío increíble de piscinas muy grandes y pintorescas (dos afuera y una adentro), completado con saunas, cataratas, fuentes, aromaterapia, cuartos de vapor, y todo el lujo incluido en el precio de la habitación. Todo el personal es servicial y profesional. La única desventaja es la ubicación. Las vistas son maravillosas, pero son diez minutos y siete euros en taxi al centro de Palma. No es del todo un problema, a menos que verdaderamente quieras estar en el centro, pero entonces no tendrás las piscinas, etc.
