I stayed 6 nights at this hotel with my husband and was a nice experience. One of the hotels metro line ? very good and leaves you to the most important and tourist places in Paris. The rooms are very small but very clean and lovely. Only one thing that was very unpleasant and bizarre: on the first day 2 panties missed in the bathroom. The hotel did not make anything about this and I felt very uncomfortable with that. However, this is a very good choice in Paris.

We stayed here for the first 2 nights of our honeymoon as a stop off before travelling onto Italy. The hotel is small, but beautifully presented. The outside area is very pleasant to enjoy a drink (non alchoholic only much to our disappointment) lit by candles and garden lights. We enjoyed breakfast out here aswell. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. This part of Paris we enjoyed aswell finding some nice bars and restaurants. We've been to Paris a few times, but never to this area. It was easy and pleasant to walk to the Seine and past Jardin des Plantes onto notre dame etc..About half an hour walk, but a nice walk.
The rooms were nicely done, but we were just really disappointed with how tiny our room was. I think it was room 76 up on the top floor. We had a balcony which rescued it, but after the suitcases were in the room there was no space. We ended up going out all the time as we couldn't move. I came to like it after I got used to it on the second day and it was nice to lie on the bed with the balcony doors open, but be warned! More of a mini break room rather than a luxurious hotel room or stop off with big suitcases. Would not recommend for honeymoons.

We stayed at the Quartier Bastille for 3 nights in April 08 and what a fantastc stay it was. The hotel is very modern but not so much so that it feels cold and uncomfortable. It has all of the modern amenities you would expect in a hotel and I would describe it as small but perfectly formed. The rooms were well equiped and cleaned and replenished brilliantly.
There is a lovely decked area to sit in on a nice day or night (although it was a bit too cold in April) and a nice bar area. However, my only complaint was they didnt serve alcohol.
The breakfast was typically European but was plentiful, fresh and tasty.
The hotel is located a little way out of the 'City Centre' but was only 10 mins max on the Metro from the stop next to the hotel. It was actually nice to escape the more toristy parts of the city.
We ate in the restaurants close to the hotel on all 3 nights and each meal was great. It is quite a 'local' area but the staff in all restaurants were very good.
I would recommend this hotel to and would suggest it is more of a 4 star hotel (despite its size and lack of bar/ restaurant) at 3 star prices!

The hotel have a modern design and have very friendly personal who help us wih both restaurant recommendation (superb) and airport transfer.
The little room has a modern look. Was clean and have a nice little, little bathroom.
It had been nice if the room had have a digital clock .
The location is good with two metrostations near by.
A lot of small Restaurants/Bistro is in the neighbourhood.
