Altough this is not my worst hotel experience in Paris, it was the synthesis of what can go wrong with a hotel room in this city.
Very small room, tiny moldy bathroom, A/C & safe in the room didn't work, very noisy location and bad insulation (from outside and hotel noises). Friendly staff though (so 'un-Paris-like') and so so location.
We did pay way too much money for this room in comparison with other hotels in the same area.
I definately do not recommend this hotel, take your time to look for something else. There are far better deals to find in Paris.

We had a smallish room at 180 Euro per night. The bed was good and comfortable and the bathroom fine. There was peeling wallpaper and our bedspread had some unwelcome stains (they changed it). The air conditioning was working but not cooling. That wouldn't have mattered to us but It was a hot night and the street noise was loud so we couldn't sleep with the window open.
We gave them notice and left after 2 nights. They reduced our bill by 100 Euros (50 per night) because of the air conditioning. The hotel is on a popular corner and it's a nice spot but I couldn't justify the price even if everything had been working. I have stayed in more expensive rooms in Paris but they were large and light with views and facilities. This had a safe but no minibar and the wi-fi was not included.

Spent three nights here with husband in early April.
Overall lthe room was OK, but the beds made up as two singles. When we checked in, the receptionist said that they could make this up as a double if we preferred. This did not happen during our stay.
There was no plug in the sink and the shower door leaked, also there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room and when
we requested a kettle, the receptionist did not understand what we wanted.
We asked for recommendations for dinner and got a vague wave in the general direction of the left of the hotel and did not find any restaurants there.
The location is lovely though the road can be very busy.
The hotel served it's purpose as a clean base but with no frills, would probably look for a different hotel in the Marias area the next time.

Me and my girlfriend stayed at the hotel for 3 night and we had a nice stay. We had a standard room which was about 10 m2 and since we were in Paris for Sightseeing it was large enough for us. The bathroom however for great and big enough.
The Service was great. The staff was always helpfull with any questions we had.
The hotel was located in the Marais and it is close to metro station, so it easy to get around.
All in all we had a great stay, and can recommend this to someone who would like stay in a hotel that is clean and central located. But only for go sightseeing if you have a standard room size

Out of hundreds of Paris hotel websites, I chose this hotel for our Thanksgiving week stay, because of its central location in the Marais, our favorite neighborhood, its price, and its contemporary look. In our almost annual trips to Paris, my partner and I have tended to stay in small, traditional hotels in the Marais or St. Germaine du Pres. We had become accustomed to small rooms, requiring tight squeezes, including bathrooms, requiring pivoting without taking more than a couple of steps in any direction. This hotel exceeded our expectations. We had the opportunity to stay in two of its rooms, as we interrupted our Paris visit with a trip to Provence. Both rooms were spacious enough that there was walking space all around the bed, which is not always true of hotels in this city. The beds were larger and firmer than we were used to, providing a comfortable sleep after miles of walking. Despite the location at the juncture of what can be very busy streets, noise at any time of day or night was no problem. One of the most appreciated of the hotel's design features was the bathrooms. Besides being more spacious than ones we were used to, they were beautifully tiled all over, brightly lighted with contemporary chrome fixtures, outfitted with electric towel warming racks, and cleaned immaculately every day.
One of our most appreciated travel highlights was provided by one of the hotels young concierges. As we had arrived in the city a day after the transportation strike began, there was no Metro and train service to other regions of France was greatly reduced. The night before we were to leave by train for Avignon, he informed us that our reserved train had been cancelled. For the next 30 minutes, he worked with us online to obtain a reservation for the one train available to our destination the next morning. He could have considered helping us too much trouble and left the problem ours. What a difference his professionalism and kindness made, sparing us a big case of the crazies as to how to get to our friends in Provence for Thanksgiving. This young man's welcoming behavior towards us is one reason why we return to Paris almost every year.
We only had two very minor complaints during our stay. the cost of their continental breakfast and an elevator which turned lazy, sometimes operating, sometimes not. There are many bakeries and bars in the area at which breakfast can be taken at reasonable cost. Taking the stairs was probably not a bad thing for us, after breakfasts at what have to be some of the best bakeries anywhere. Half the fun has to be exploring places to eat, checking out their window displays, and sitting down to some of the best coffee and flaky pasteries one can imagine, all while checking out the people off to do their day's business.
We will definitely stay at this hotel on our next visit to our favorite city!
