The accommodations were adequate. The hotel looks to have been recently upgraded: nice floor, LCD TV, carpet. The room was a little small. There was no closet and, unless you enjoy always sitting or lying on the bed, there was no other place to sit (no chair). The worst part of the room was that is located above a garage where the hotel maintenance staff stored working materials. They parked their van directly below our window and talked loudly and incessantly in spanish beginning each morning at around 7:30 am. Attempts to get them to be a little more considerate were unsuccessful. I think has we had a room in the front of the hotel away from the maintenance alley, it would have been a much more enjoyable stay.
The breakfast was adequate. However, they actually ran out of some items, including dishes.
I do have to say that the location is excellent. It is right across from the beach and easily accessible to everything.

This MOTEL was billed out as a boutique hotel and came with that price. Aside from it being across the street from the beach and a good mattress there was no boutique about it! The rooms were small with paper thin walls. No AC and moldy, small showers. There was partying in the room next door and we couldn't sleep and when the manager was informed he wanted ME to further investigate! I would have expected this in a Motel 6 or Best Western but not at the price I paid. SAVE YOUR MONEY, go to Best Western down the street and get a nice dinner!!

The wedding we attended in SB booked a block of rooms at this hotel so we chose the "ocean view" and paid $382/night which is at least $200 more than what anyone should pay for this hotel. The desk people are unfriendly, cleaning people left rags in our room, there is no air conditioning which means you have to leave your windows open for some sort of a breeze which makes it loud during the night (we slept terribly). No one helped us with our luggage although we had a nice young man show us where our room was...for nearly $400/night I expect a lot more. Basically this is an old hotel they slapped some paint on added some Jonathan Adler accessories and called it "boutique." Stay elsewhere or if you can get this place for around $200 and can deal with no air conditioning then you have been warned.

We stayed there for a weekend getaway and boy were we disappointed. For the price we paid, we thought we were getting a lot more. The rooms are small and there are no closets. Just a canvas shoe rack and some hangers hanging on a rod that is suspended from the ceiling. Our room was at the top of the stairs (no elevators) so we had to keep the curtains closed or else everyone passing by could look in. That’s another thing, the curtains are on a flimsy rod and wont close all the way, there is a significant opening where you can still see inside, we had to hold them closed with the clips from one of the hangers. The carpets were so dirty and stained that I walked around the room with flip-flops on the whole time. It was pretty gross. We were very disappointed and a little peeved that we had to pay so much for something we didn’t enjoy.

The hotel is on the main road, right across the street from the beach. I could hear the traffic noise in my room.
It is nicely furnished, although the room was somewhat cramped. The bed was very comfortable. Nice flat screen TV.
The room was not air conditioned, and I am not much for having ceiling fans spin all night long.
The bathroom was roomy and had a nice big old fashioned pedastal sink.
