I stayed in this hotel for 5 nights in November 2007 during a business trip. Room was big and clean but a bit old fashioned and there was some smell of russian cigarette smoke. I stayed in 9th floor but still I could hear noise from streets all night long.
Got a good service from staff in the reception and breakfast buffet restaurant . Breakfast buffet was very good and enjoyed lovely live piano music every morning. In addition to casino, hotel has a bowling place and many restaurants. Visited the greek and japanese restaurants and got decent food with reasonable price. Room price is way too expensive compared to quality but that is normal in Moscow. My top choice would be Golden Ring Hotel but if no rooms available there, I can recommend this hotel. If you enjoy going outside in the evenings to walk around in the neighborhoods, this hotel is not for you...there seems to be nothing around to see or visit.

After staying at a number of the Moscow hotels, finding a less expensive one than the Radisson or Rennaisance, I tried the Orlyonek. Reception looks good, the rooms are big and the breakfast buffet is good. It is clean as well. It also has a casino and erotica bar (if you're that way inclined) and it somewhat reminds you of Las Vegas sometimes. Can't comment on the Restuarants, but no internet service in your room, makes business a little tougher.
