This most elegant and sophisticated boutique hotel is located in the Centrum of the historical town of The Hague. Plenty of great restaurants in the neighborhood. The hotel is very nicely and sophisticated decorated, with high standards of luxury and comfort. Indeed we slept very well. The breakfast was plenty and offered much variation, the service was most accommodating but unobtrusive. We stayed only for the weekend but will make any effort to come back for an longer stay.

We recently were on a business trip in The Hague and stayed at the Paleis Hotel. What a wonderful experience! The room was stylish and beautifully decorated with a luxurious bathroom. The staff was very friendly and professional. Breakfast was delicious. The crispy white cotton sheets made our stay most memorable. The hotel reminded us of a very nice boutique hotel we recently stayed at in Paris. The location is excellent, right in the middle of the historic centre. We can highly recommend this hotel. We will definitly come back.

Great location in the cultural and shopping center of Den Haag. The hotel has no own parking, but the public parking is nearby. Very friendly reception, nice decorated superior room with good beds and well equipped bathroom. Excellent breakfast.
Only bad point: closing the doors of the rooms causes a heavy noise, so when other guests return late at night, you surely get awake every time; and can hear the incoming guests talk through the walls and doors; bad sleepers are warned: unfortunately this is not a 'silent hotel'.

When we arrived in the evening we were told that our rate included breakfast, when we checked out next morning an unfriendly old woman charged us for it, eventually we settled for paying 1 breakfast just not to waste anymore time and endure further unpleasantly behaviour from the old woman.
Besides everything in the hotel was small: the room, bathroom, breakfast room, breakfast buffet, corridors. There is no lounge, no bar or restaurant, it's more like a bed & breakfast at the home of an unfrienfly old woman. OK the rooms were nice but taken into account the rest I go somewhere else next time.

We stayed 8 nights at this small hotel . . . and were pleased in every way. The staff is most helpful, the rooms are tastefully decorated, and everything is fresh, fresh, fresh. Bed linens are ironed; bathrooms are very roomy; breakfast (served on stunning blue and white china) is delicious and hardy; and the location couldn't be better. A plus: around the corner is a small bakery with cookies so good (they're called Romeos!), we brought home several boxes! If you're looking for quiet and sophisticated, be sure this hotel is on your list.
