I love the view. The patio overlooks the Battleship North Carolina and the Cape Fear river. Out the front door you overlook Historic Downtown Wilmington. Nice rooms too.

A friend and I stayed at the Riverview Suites during Memorial Day weekend and can’t say enough good things about it. The suite was on the 9th floor and was directly across from Battleship North Carolina with a fantastic view. Everything we needed was in the room including full kitchen with appliances, living room with a fold out sofa bed and leather recliner, and a separate large bedroom with a large closet. Another plus was the balcony that overlooked the river and the street below. The coast guard boat that is mentioned in other reviews was out to sea and not docked during our stay, so the view couldn’t have been better. The location was perfect and near almost everything from shops to dining and sightseeing. During our stay we found the Riverview Suites to be very clean and most everything seemed updated and well maintained throughout. The Hilton staff was top notch and really was accommodating in every way. If you are planning a trip to Wilmington, you couldn’t ask for a nicer, better located stay than here! My family has visited Wilmington in May for the past few years, and have found the Riverview Suites to be a very good deal. The rooms have pretty much everything you need to spend a few days. It's more like staying in a small apartment than a hotel room. There's a full kitchen, so you can bring/buy groceries and save a few dollars from eating out for every meal. A separate bedroom is very nice with a tempurpedic mattress, plus there's a foldout couch which the kids love to sleep on. The rooms include a washer/dryer which can come in handy in case there are any wardrobe malfunctions during your stay. The balcony overlooks the river, and is a nice place to sit and have a cup of coffee in the mornings. For roughly the same price as a normal room across the street at the Hilton, you get a lot more space and features with the Riverview suites.

Loud Drunken Rednecks and College Students cram into one bedroom puke pads. Hilton Security no where to be seen. Police do not respond to 911 calls. High Crime Area. Urine Smell around the building. Coast Guard Cutter under reconstruction in front of building. Very Noisy. Housekeeping Very Noisy. Never Again will my wife and I stay here. The above information is the absolute truth and this wasn't New Years Eve either.
