We stayed here twice on our way into Yellowstone and again on our way back home. The first day, they messed up our reservation and put us in a room with one bed (we needed two). We talked with them and asked them to make sure we got two beds on the way back out. We watched as they made the note. On the way back, we were once again in a room with one bed, then lied to us and told us that is what we asked for.
This forced us to get another hotel room the second night (an added expense of $150) and forced people to sleep on the floor the first night. If they were busy that's one thing - but lying is unacceptable.
Our worst hotel experience of all time - avoid.

From the moment we walked into the Anglers Inn office, we were treated with disrespect and rudeness. The person at the desk was clearly annoyed with our presence and our questions about our reservation were met with impatience. The room was clean and spacious enough, but the linens were thin and scratchy. The towels were so thin you could see through them and the pillows were a joke. This wouldn't have been so bad except for the fact that asking for extra towels and pillows required dealing with the surly staff, all of whom treated any such requests with impressive disdain. In general, the stay would have been fine and worth the money (by Jackson standards, at least) had it not been for the outrageous rudeness of the management. I wouldn't recommend a stay here, there have to be more hospitable places to stay in Jackson. But if you do have to stop at the Angler's Inn, make sure to get a second floor room--if you're unlucky enough to have an early riser staying above you, you're not sleeping in, no matter how quiet they try to be.

Very nice, cozy motel close to downtown. Clean rooms with a western flair. Price was right also. Definitely would return.

Nice clean rather large unit. Close to the main street and in walking distance to most of the stores. An expensive town in general so I think that the rates for this hotel are very fair.

Stayed at Anglers Inn on our way back through Jackson from Yellowstone.
If you arrive after 9PM you either need to call ahead to get your room number (and they will leave your key under the mat) or call the night manager like we did. We were just surprised that the whole motel was locked up tight when we got there at 10PM but the Manager came right away to let us in so it was not a problem.
Rooms are clean and nice. Location is right on a major road so not quiet. But, if you leave the blower going on the A/C unit it does drown out the sound quite well.
Our shower seemed to be on its last legs-had trouble turning it on and off, but we still had water pressure.
Nice to have a microwave and refrigerator in the room if you are planning to stay a bit longer than we did.
Motel is really quite close to town and walking distance to restaurants and shops (a few blocks...)
