I was trying to find a place to stay in Roseburg when I found that most everywhere was full. The girl at the desk was very rude about the check in procedure. She was not friendly at all. Abrupt and curt! When I got to my room, the floor was not even vacuumed and I called the front desk to see if someone would come vacuum it for us and she said it might be a few minutes. We waited a for a while and no one showed up. My son had to use the bathroom and found that the toilet was not cleaned that day and decided to try and find another hotel to stay at. When I explained to them why I was leaving, they said that I would be charged anyway. I didn't care I couldn't let my family sleep in a room that I was afraid the sheets might not have been changed. I will never go back here again.

The room was great and there was a nice field next to the parking lot to walk your dog. They provided a bag of dog biscuits and poop bags when we registered. The room was averaged sized, but very comfortable. The only downside was that the hotel is built on a slope, so there are ramps inside to various rooms. As there were NO handrails on the ramps, it was a bit dicey for those who are disabled and walk with a cane (like myself). I would definitely stay here again though.
The breakfast was typical motel continental, so we went next door to Elmer's for more substantial fare.

My wife and I look forward to staying here southbound and northbound on our annual trip from BC to California. The rooms are pretty standard - not outstanding - but the attitude of the staff and the quality of the self-serve breakfast set this place apart from and above any other hotel we've stayed in on this route. Roseburg is a pleasant place to stop; we typically eat dinner at the nearby Rodeo Steakhouse.

My mom and I stayed at this hotel on our way from Seattle to Southern California and we though it was ok. The staff seemed a little rigid and it seemed just a little outdated. When we came back through we tried another hotel and it made this one seem unfriendly. They did have a computer that I could use and the breakfast was pretty good. Just not very customer friendly.

Family of 5 staying here on vacation to Crater Lake. Read the reviews on this website and decided to stay because of what was said. Excellent Facilities and Staff! Room is very clean, nothing too fancy, but very clean. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Very nice continental breakfast. Very nice and great rates too.
