We had an Uncle that passed away. We had to go to a Rosary that night. We were short on time. So I checked out the hotels on the computer that afternoon ahead of time that would be close to the church. We also wanted a place with a hot tub for when we got back to the room we could relax after all the stress of the evening. They had advertised the room on the computer for $59.00. When we got there they charged us $89.00 per room. So okay. We went ahead and and got us a couple of rooms. We asked for ajoining rooms so that we could keep a close watch on our elder mother in the next room. After all the commotion of them telling us that they did not have adjoining rooms on the 1st floor, we asked for some on the second floor. We get to the rooms and they were not joined. Okay so we let it go. Then we decided we were going to go get in the hot tub. Well, it was closed. They close it at 9:00pm which the clerk did not tell us when we first asked him if they had one when we checked in. The elevator smelled bad. We did not think the place was too clean. We found some dirty socks under the dresser in the bedroom from the previous people that had been in that room I guess.
I won't ever get a room there again. We got better service at the Motel 6 when we stayed there this past summer. And the prices are better for the service we got too.

We stayed here for just one night, but enjoyed our stay. We had been travelling for days, and decided to upgrade to a king room with jacuzzi. Good choice! It was huge, and the jacuzzi was fabulous. Plenty of room for two people.
We had two rooms - a little living room, and a kitchen area as well, with refrigerator, microwave, and sink. The bedroom was quite large, with king bed, and chair. The bathroom opened into the living room and the bedroom both. Nice separate toilet from shower area.
We did not eat in the hotel for dinner, but did for breakfast. Bagels, coffee, juice, boiled eggs, toast. Fresh fruit.
We went to Aztec National park in the morning early, and it is very close, so after we toured, we were able to come back, change clothes, and then check out by noon.
We would stay here again if touring in the area.

We spent one night in this property. We had planned on camping in New Mexico but a chilly wind drove us to seek shelter indoors. As a consequence, we ended up in Farmington in the early evening, trying to find a room at the inn, any inn.
After several calls, we located one of the last rooms (a smoking room) at The Region Inn. We were prepared for the worst but were pleasantly surprised: although the hallway smelled of smoke, the room didn’t at all.
This property exceeded our expectations. The location is easy to find in the downtown area. Our two-bed room was quite large, clean, quiet and secure. The furnishings were relatively simple but of satisfactory quality. The internet connection worked well. The complimentary breakfast was adequate.
We ate dinner at the on-site restaurant. Our Mexican-style dinner was above-average. It was clear that many of the restaurant customers were non-guests, which we took as a sign that it was a desirable place to dine in Farmington.
We would definitely stay there again if we were passing through Farmington.

After we checked in, we were not able to open our door to our room, though our keycards worked. We called the front desk and were told to hold the door handle up (which we had already tried). On our fifth or so attempt, we were finally able to open the door, but we determined that the lock was busted and requested a room change. Got a new room with no problem, but the next day, we discovered that our new keycards apparently had been programmed for only one night (and we were staying four nights). We got them reprogrammed but were a bit shocked that the desk clerk, a different clerk from the previous day, didn't ask for our names or ID -- a security oversight, in our view.
We also had to leave housekeeping a note requesting new soaps and shampoos, which were not automatically replenished during our stay, though it was obvious that we were nearly out of both halfway during our stay.
The Region Inn was clean and comfortable, but if we stay in Farmington again, we would check out one of the other nearby chain hotels.

Though it's priced higher than other nearby motels, the Region Inn in Farmington delivers superior value and service. The wi-fi Internet access is strong and steady. The pool and public areas are clean and welcoming. The extended continental breakfast includes make-your-own waffles. The front desk staff are pleasant and efficient. The decor inside the room evinces your typical motel style, but all rooms are exceptionally well kept. We were happy with what we paid here ($49+tax for a non-smoking king room).
Farmington is not the most pleasant place to stay, but this motel makes it a lot more bearable.
