After booking our stay we found more and more "negative" reviews BUT I am happy to report that it was not bad. The rooms are quite small but honestly it isn't like we spent alot of time there anyway. It was fresh, the carpets are getting to the point of needing replaced but that too is not a big deal.
The only small negatives that I can come up with is 1) the body, hair and hand soap is an all- in- one which is attatched to the wall 2) the pool is a little too cool as is the whirl-pool 3) you have to use the key to lock the door when you come in
The bonus' 1) free transportation card 2) great breakfast 3) the great whirl pool area that is through the swinging doors, through the hallway & up the spiral stairs- GREAt area!
This hotel is in an "adult business" area and right next to the tram stop but it was not a problem. I felt safe at all times.
The staff was very friendly and helpful too!

Ok, here's my experience.. I stayed in this hotel which looked quite nice on the pictures on the internet, 4 stars, 4 nights. I'm just back from this horrible experience and need to catch up 4 nights of sleep!
1) The rooms are small, with no desk, a creeking closet, no air conditioning or regulation of the central heating, which is switched on to the max and doesnt let you sleep because of the heat. When you wake up your eyes are all red for the first hour because of the dry air and the heat..
Curtains don't close very well and a very small bed with the most awfull flat pillow that you can imagine. When I asked for a different pillow at the reception after my first night without sleeping they could only give me another one that was just the same..
2) Wireless internet only in the lobby, but costs you 8 euros for 1 hour! You can have cable internet in the room asking for the cable at reception but there's no way you can get a cable because they are all gone..
3) No bathroom gadgets, soap, comb, toothpaste and the basic stuff whatsoever.. can you believe that??
4) A guy opens the door without knocking at 21pm and starts refilling the minibar?? HUH?
5) No bar to have a drink at night..
6) As the name says you imagine yourself in a luxuerous sporthall but when you enter the so called fitness center you find yourself standing between 5 machine's dating from the 70's, no gym instructor or anything alike..
This is not a 4 star hotel!! The only thing that was quite good was the nice and varieted breakfast and the reception service..
I would never ever go back to this place!!!

I thought it was pretty good to be honest. It certainly wasn't dirty. Good value.
If you want bellboys to take your luggage then you book into a 4 or 5 star.
Awful
