When I arrived I was given a dark room on the second floor. No go - they need to remodel these desperately. The front desk graciously moved me to a renovated room on the third floor and Oh My Goodness!!!! It was incredible. Worth every penny; fireplace, two tv's, microwave, two burners, huge bathroom, balcony....it was fantabulous!!!!!
Stay in this hotel, just not in the dark room on the back - you will love it!!!!!

Every time I stay at this side street "all suite" hotel (which is chosen because it is NOT on the strip) I not only have a nice comfortable stay. But I am always greeted by the same quality staff. From the parking attendants to the maids, they remember you and even if it's your first time they make you feel like family. If there is a problem, they fix it.
In the room you get a full kitchen. In the bath you get 2 rooms. The bed is one step up off the living area (which has a fireplace) and has a separation curtain.
Try Urth Cafe, just 2 blocks away for great coffee and an amazing Chicken Curry Sandwich. The Pumpkin Pie IS TO DIE FOR!!! You'll NEVER have better.
The hotel has a great roof top pool.

Very very noisy

A very lovely hotel but there must be no sound-proofing between the floors. The first night we were in a second floor suite and from 2:00 to 4:00 A.M. the person above us stomped back and forth from one side of the bedroom to the other. I complained to the front desk the next morning and was moved to another room- to the first floor. That night about 2:00 AM a group of people above us returned to their room and proceeded to talk loudly and to walk around with loud footsteps for the next 45 minutes. When I spoke to the front desk that next morning, the clerk just expressed surprise about the noise and said that it usually is so quiet- hard to believe when it happened two nights in a row in different rooms and floors. There just does not seem to be any sound-proofing between the floors. I've had better nights at a Days Inn.
A resort-like feeling in the middle of West Hollywood

This is a great find in the heart of WeHo. You can stay here and walk to many attractions.
CHECK IN/OUT: The reception area is small but comfortable. The front desk staff is warm and accomodating. They told us they had a great corner suite for us and where our friends were staying. Great hospitality all around
ROOM: The room is large! These were apartments 20 years ago so the room had a small kitchenette, living area and bedroom. The wood furnishings are a little weathered, but the couch and bed are extremely comfortable. The bedroom has been updated and includes a large flat panel TV, comfortable linens and pillows. The bathroom features granite counter tops and has the standard ammenities. Nothing exciting in the amenities department, just standard stuff. The toilet and shower/bath could stand some updating, but a great room overall.
BAR/RESTAURANT: There is only one bar/restaurant in the hotel. It's very small, but quaint. The bartender Leo poured us a very stiff drink. We had a breakfast and some snacks from there as well. The food is average, but the price makes up for it because you don't pay standard hotel rates which is nice!
AREA: The location is great! The hotel is in a residential area and around the corner is STK, KOI and other Hollywood hotspots.
Overall, a great weekend getaway. I will definitely come back here.
