Avoid this hotel at any cost. Unhelpful staff, terrible attitude (I have lived in 1-2 stars hotel and even youth hostels where there was excellent attitude!). Room was very, very small- there was shower in the first floor and bed in second. Stairs were narrow and ... well problematic for even for small height woman. TV set showed just few canals normaly and as I do not speak Dutch or French very well, it was not for me.

Stayed on business and emailed beforehand asking for a quiet room. Was allocated a room in the roof conversion where 70% of the room was under the sloping roof, necessitating bending and twisting. Not what you expect from an advertised 5star hotel. Also the curtains were off the rail and the velux window blind broken. Front rooms could be noisy with trams trundling past in the street.
Make sure you don't get a roof room and the stay will be OK
Breakfast OK - standard Continental with breads and cold meats

We stayed using the honeymoon weekend package. We had nice suite, but its all just a bit unloved, and impersonal. Nothing really wrong, but also nothing really special for the 5 stars and the money. Expected more.
It should be great but it just misses the mark. For a 3 star hotel it would be great but for a 5 star it is not.
The hammam is lovely.

How can this be considered a 5-star hotel?

Manos Premier was an intimate hotel that gives you the feeling of privacy and luxury from the minute you arrived. My guest room (#41) was very clean and accented by antiques from the owner's collection. The restaurant Kolya had excellent food in a relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast was included in the rate and had more than generous food offerings available. (Loved the croissants and assorted breads). Even though it rained heavily while visiting Brussels, Manos Premier was a great haven to be coddled and comforted while there was inclement weather outside - the fireplace room for cocktails was very warm and inviting where an array of books were available as well. The secluded gardens outside were very lush and just in the process of blooming with flowers which was a comfort to see in between the dreary weather. Ideally located, I'd go back in a heart beat. Caring staff that wants to make a difference in your stay.
