I had a horrible stay at the Alpine Inn. First they gave me a cramped room which smelled like a hospital. The TV never had a decent picture which puzzles me because they have cable. The bathroom was not clean and smelled funky. Also there was no computer desk to use my laptop. On the second day I was accused of smoking in the hotel room after I had switched rooms. I did not smoke in the room, but management would not listen to reason so I had to leave. Would not recommend this place.

Stayed at Alpine Inn with my buddy on weekend when I came to see 49ers play at Monster Park. I liked the location due to its close proximity to Monster Park and San Francisco. Rooms are clean and nicely decorated...little small for my taste. Breakfast was sufficient. People are very nice and the hotel is quiet. Exterior is clean and I like the way they have decorated outside...it has that cottage feel to it. Will stay here next year when I come back...hopefully by them 49ers can win the game.

Our stay at this hotel was amazing. The lady at the front desk absolutely lovely and very helpful! The rooms were very nice and clean. We stayed in the two-bedroom appartment, which was awesome. The only thing we missed was a fridge on the room and some ventilator on the bathroom, otherwise my family and I were very satisfied with this motel.

given that SF is one of the most expensive cities in the world, the price i payed for the suite was a real bargain. after contacting the property directly i ended-up paying 70$ a night for a suite that had two very clean and recently refurbished rooms. we also had a fridge and a microwave which was a bonus. the property is located on the VERY QUIET street so it was very nice and peaceful for the whole week we stayed there. the only problem is that the overall area (Daly city) is not a safe neigbourhood so you must have a car since i wouldn't risk walking to/from the public transport at night time.

I booked thru Expedia and booked a smoking queen bed room. I called the hotel to double check on my reservation and they told me that I did indeed have a 1 queen bed smoking room booked. The night we checked in, we went to our room and it was one of the rooms that had a no smoking sign on the door. I went back to the desk as I thought she had put us in a no smoking room by mistake as there were several rooms that did not have the no smoking sign. She then informed me that they were all no smoking and had been that way since January. She blamed it all on Expedia but since I had called the hotel itself I know that wasn't true.It is also listed on their website that they have smoking rooms. Since the room was paid for, we stayed and were disgusted because there was soap scum and hairs in the shower, and cheetos by the bed. The bed was comfortable and they have a cool sink in the bathroom but I would prefer it clean. The TV was so full of snow it was unwatchable. I would never stay there again as I don't appreciate being lied to and the room wasn't clean.
