The staff make this hotel completely worth the stay. Incredibly friendly and helpful, they were wonderful from the time we stepped in the door. The hotel itself is lovely, with a good location. The rooms are well kept and cleaned. We will definitely stay here again on future weekends in Paris.

Small as expected, but now this hotel is completely outdated. The carpet is dirty, the shower was broken and barely functional. Noisy as hell too. The staff and the lobby were their saving grace.

Just got back from my 5th stay at La Manufacture and for the first time I've been a bit disappointed. The main reason: we were initially allocated room 6 on the first floor which is triangular and would be pokey and cramped for one but was unbearable for two. I say 'initially' as we were originally down to have a different room but given that we arrived late on I bet we got the short(est) straw. The night receptionist was powerless to help and claimed he wasn't authorised to make changes. The next morning I confronted Nadine and was then given room 35 -- it was marginally better but how they get their "superior room" ratings I'll never know as I'd hate to see a standard one. We also got the winter promotion but paid 115 euros per night ex breakfast I've never bothered with breakfast as for 2.50 euros cheaper you can have it at the cafe entr'acte round the corner on avenue des gobelins. I like the area and I like the hotel but I'm starting to feel as though I ought to look elsewhere.
