I stayed at this hotel on May 26 for 2 nights. The hotel location and rooms are great value as it is still fairly new and centrally located very near the metro and Nevsky Prospect. But the downside was that the staff were a bit sullen at times (though they tried their best) and some spoke very little English (though I found that to be the case with a lot of the people I encountered in the city). The breakfast was very simple fare and sometimes the coffee left a lot to be desired. All in all, now that I know, I would fork out a bit more money for a better deal.

Good Position. Great Value

Hotel was very clean and comfortable, and in a good position just 7 mins walk from Nevsky Prospect. The metro was within 4 mins walk of 2 stations. The reception is up a flight of stairs.
The rooms were of a good size, with bright decor, and furnishings of a good standard. Very welcoming after a days sightseeing in St Petersburg.
The standard room had a good size bathroom (shower , no bath) attached, with two large and comfortable beds, tv, but no coffee making facilities. Breakfast was taken at the adjoining cafe, and was good.
The surrounding area has many shops, and I can recommend the Ukrainian restaurant just 50 m away.
Overall very good value for money, friendly atmosphere, and good position.
