This is a nice hotel for what you expect to find once you get far outside of Russia. The hotel front desk was extremely friendly and helpful with a good command of the English language. The rooms are nice though the bathroom is very small - of course, how much time do you really spend in the bathroom! There is a nice little restaurant around the corner from the hotel which is decked out as a hockey place with some pretty good food. You can walk down to the center of town, a long walk, and it is a nice place to check out.

During my 3 week stay at this hotel I found it helps that about 90% of the hotel employees speak English and other languages! They will help you find your way around town-via the trolley-bus stop in front of the hotel or the local rail line, help you order food for your meals in the restaruant or at nearby eateries and help you find where to shop. The rooms were very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the hotel is quiet for being in the city. They provide many ammenities, such as small refigerators, a small in-room safe and hairdryers. The cheerful hotel staff made my stay very enjoyable.
