We stayed here for 2 days at the beginning of May and it was in an excellent location near the station. Luckily for tourists the best parts of the old town are easily accessed from the hotels near the station but the Victoria is a very short walk so it would be excellent for people who did not want to haul luggage through town. We had a room that looked out over the road/pedestrian area out front and we watched many people getting dropped off at the gate and then having to walk to find their hotels. The staff at the Victoria are very helpful and the breakfast was excellent. They do not have any internet cafes nearby so my tip for you if you are looking for internet in near here is to go to the station and then go up the escalator to your left and near the MacDonalds or Burger King (I can't remember what it was) go right and just along the walkway at the top there is a very new and clean internet/pub. Overall, I would recommend this hotel - it was clean, roomy and nearby all the main central sights.

Just had a week in the Logenplatz suite, an expensive (for me) treat to myself at the beginning of an 8 week work sabbatical in Germany.
The location is fantastic, just at the end of the underpass out of the station. Plus the public transport is so good that one night, having seen the last curtain calls at the opera (which has its own doors onto the Ubahn!) at 22:40, I was back in my room by 22:50. That's efficiency! The locations is also great on Koenigstrasse for access to the sights and shops.
The room is huge, very long, divided into 3 distinct areas for sitting, bedding and bathrooming. The freestanding bath with the rainbow lights was good - clearly meant for romantic twosomes but I can't blame the hotel that I was there alone!
The service was good but not special. The receptionists were helpful when asked but a lot more information would have been better. There was no hotel information pack in the room, so I never did receive information about breakfast times, use of the terrace cafe and so on. In fact, it was only the last day that I discovered the terrace cafe was open every day, I'd thought it was only for special events.
The breakfast was nicely done and the coffee was terrific. The breakfast room, like everywhere else, was absolutely spotless. The content was unvarying, though, and the breadroll selection, after the first couple of days, came down to white rolls, the flaky kind that shatter every where, and those little salty ones like pretzels.
If I went to Nuremberg again, I'd stay at Hotel Victoria for the location but in one of their lesser rooms. I'd saved hard for the treat of the suite, and it wasn't all that of a treat.
