Stayed at this hotel recently for 7 nights. Check-in was quick and efficient as was checking out and when we had a problem with our room key card it was resolved without any fuss. The hotel is obviously geared up for business use and the lobby always seemed busy with people coming and going but plenty of reception staff always on hand. There is an area with four PC's with internet access for guests to use. The room was of a good size, clean, very comfortable and had air-conditioning. Bathroom was clean with a really good shower and plenty of hot water and towels were replaced every day even when not left on the floor/bath. During the week the room was serviced promptly and had always been done by the time we got back which was usually about 4pm, however on weekends the room was not serviced so promptly and when we went back at around 4.30pm had not been done. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice, constantly replenished and as much as you could eat. Overall this is a fantastic hotel in a great location for all city attractions and public transport. Our only concern is the size of the left luggage room which was already packed with suitcases and we had a job getting our cases in and out. There are extensive road/tram works going on near the hotel however with the windows closed we never heard a thing but we were on the seventh floor.

Nice hotel, staff very friendly, good breakfast. It is by the Central Station, so is a little bit noise if your room have a window to the street, but really nice if is an interior room. Nice internet connection (extra charge, Norway fee) Nice restaurant for diner Prompt staff

Good quality hotel in a convenient location. The first room we were given faced a back street with a nite-club on it. We asked to be moved and got a room facing the inside courtyard of the hotel. The room was clean and big enough. The best thing about this hotel was the breakfast. It was the most extensive hotel breakfast I have seen! The worst thing was the pool. When you lay eyes upon this subterranean puddle you will be very dissapointed if you were planning on doing more than one frog-kick! Think large spa bath rather than small pool. I'd stay again if there was a good deal but leave the speedos at home.

Location is convenient for travelling to/from (just outside main station), so is a good base to see Oslo and surrounding areas. Is close to several shopping malls and within easy walking distance of main town area. (If you are reasonably fit, you can walk to nearly everywhere in Oslo from this hotel, although the public transport system is excellent.) High standard of rooms and good facilities (has free internet in lobby, small swimming pool, single-sex sauna/steam rooms). Bedrooms and beds good size and very comfortable. Minibar prices absolutely extortionate, but this is an expensive hotel in an expensive country so no great surprises there. Breakfast very good, plenty of choice and good organic selection - you can get your own coffee/tea/hot choc so no waiting if you're in a rush. Staff helpful, friendly and efficient.

This is by far the best hotel experience in my life. Check in was fast and smooth. My room was perfect, nice beds, great selection in the minibar. And a great view of oslo from my window. The staff is very helpful. The took really good care of me. Breakfast is the biggest one I have ever seen, so much to choose from that you could?ve been there for a week and not eat the same thing again. Overall a perfect stay at one of the worlds best hotels!
