Novotel's biggest problem is actually its location. It is situated along one of the city's highway and it is almost impossible to have a walk around the area without endangering yourself. Therefore you have no choice but to rely on the taxi or hotel shuttle to go anywhere. The rooms are however reasonably modern and clean. You can have a choice of the sea frontage rooms which overlooks the swimming pool, highway and the sea of Marmara. If not for the lack of access I would give this hotel a higher rating.

I was at the hotel last week. One thing everyone should agrees will be the view from the hotel, facing the Marimar Sea. It is a small hotel , nice ambience. Room was good. A separate bathroom and toilet. LCD TV but no ironing facility. If I'm not mistaken no mineral water provided in the room. But water jug available. the ironing thing send within a short time when requested. With great view from the room, nothing to complaint much actually. The breakfast at the cafe was good, in terms of variety and seats arrangement. Nice weather also in Istanbul, around 15-16c. The pool was nice view from the top, however due to the weather, you can't swim as it's located at opened area. The hotel also located only 50m from the seaside. It will be a nice walk during the night i think caused i was not able to do so due to load down with work tasks.
