The hotel itself was wonderful, the rooms extremely modern and clean. Don't go for the pool though, as its the size of a small car parking spot with chains around saying lifeguard needed! And completely overlooked! Club sandwich 12Euros two beers 12Euros, you get the idea. It was also a fair way from the centre of town and not a very interesting walk. The local free map giving directions to the Novotel was difficult to understand and a call to reception didn't clarify the directions at all. Best to get a taxi from the airport with the full address as Taxi drivers in town off the ranks didn't know where it was either (several asked over the days only one could take us there). We didn't find the evening menu very interesting or decently priced (okay for expense account users) so decided to got into town, I guess this is an obvious one for those frequently travelling to Spain away from the usual resorts, but Spain closes on a Sunday! We also found it difficult to find restaurants open on Saturday evening so we lived off McDonalds for two days. Fortunately there is one next door to the Novotel but it gets ridiculously busy; think Oxford Street in the 1980's when McD's first came to town.

estuvimos en valladolid, desde el 30 de septiembre hasta el 4 de octubrede 2007. teniamos reserva en el Novotel Valladolid. el hotel es nuevo, amplio, muy bonito, la decoracion bastante modera y una recepcion grande. las habitaciones tambien son comodas, los baños tienen plato de ducha y bañera, las piezas del baño de ultima moda y muy limpio. la habitacion además tiene acceso de internet, pero no es gratuito sino 8 euros al dia. el hotel esta estupendo, sin embargo, el unico problema que vimos era la situacion. por este motivo nos cambiamos del hotel. esta genial para conferencias, por ejemplo, pero para ir unos dias y pasear y conocer la ciudad no! cada vez que cogiamos un taxi, eran como 9 euros aproximadamente de media. algo caro.

J ai sejourne dans cet hotel le 26/8/2007 excellent etablissement, digne d un 4 etoiles, personnel tres accueillant, chambre tres agreable grande et fonctionnelle, salle de bains impeccable, tres-tres bon restaurant le chef est à feliciter, tres bon petit dejeuner buffet tres copieux. vraiment un hotel top john92300
