We chose this hotel for its central location near all in Warsaw and for having paid, secure, guarded parking available. We were assigned a non-smoking room on the 21st floor facing the back with a great view over the city roofs, and it proved to be very quiet. This 31st floor modern building is a typical, modern, midrange business hotel, but caters to tourists as well.
Public transportation of every kind including a subway station in front of the hotel connect it to all parts of the city. Additionally, pedestrianized UL. Chmielna with shops and restaurants is only a five minute stroll away. Even the old city can comfortably be reached on foot from the hotel.
The facility was modern and clean, as was our room which had a queen size bed, very pricey mini bar/fridge, central A/C, safe, Internet connection, 220/volt outlets, and TV with international channels. The room and bathroom were functionally furnished, but a couple of nuisances were the aisle between one side of the bed and the wall was barely wider than one foot, and the toilet dripped rather noisily, prompting us to shut off the water supply to it for the night.
Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful with information. The ground floor offered the usual, a restaurant, bar, gift shop, meeting rooms, a fee based computer terminal, whereas an Internet caf? is located down the steps in the Metro station in front of the hotel. Breakfast was served with an abundant selection from which to choose, but at 8 a.m. the area was totally over crowded and overwhelmed with people.
All in all, for the price of US$136 the Novotel Centrum provided a comfortable, modern, clean, secure, and conveniently located base from which to explore Warsaw. Should we return to this city, we will definitely stay here again.

Stayed in Warsaw for the weekend of my stag do in March from what I can remeber of the city itself it was a rather depressing mix of concrete and grey buildings however the people were extremely friendly and found some good bars etc.
The hotel itself was very clean and well presented and the staff very friendly. The rooms were triple rooms with a double bed and and fold down sofa bed. All very comfortable.
Rooms were of a high standard and very quiet although we were on the 16th floor so very little road noise.
I would certainly recomend this hotel for its central location and value for money. It doesn't look the best from the outside but on the inside it was very nice and friendly staff.

Stayed here in May 2007 with tour group. Very large hotel. Clean and comfortable enough. Had dinner 2 night in Hotal with tour group. Meals were not nice at all. Breakfasts were fine, and dinner drinks pretty expensive. Right in city, with large shopping centre across the road and a supermarket on other corner. Plenty of places to eat close by. Staff were not overly friendly.

stayed here for two nights on 7th march. Found the staff v helpful, recommended a really nice restaurant to us on our first night. flew in to warsaw with ryanair, can buy a bus ticket in a shop called relay in arrivals hall, get the 175 bus (just outside) will drop you in centrum and right outside hotel - v handy. room was lovely, bed a bit soft though, i ended up with a stiff neck! was cleaned everyday with supplies and towels replenished. we asked for a recommendation for another restaurant on 2nd night from the reception. on their advice went to a place called "san Lorenzos" booked it for us etc. was really nice and good price. warsaw is easily done in two days if you're not really into seeing all the jewish sights etc, you can walk everywhere from hotel no problem. found it quite cheap, about 3 and half zloty for euro. beer is about 3 euro food is much cheaper than home. would recommend warsaw, and hotel for a nice weekend. You can obviously get a bus back to airport and as i said its very handy and much cheaper than taxis.
