Very nice hotel whith large new rooms and pleasant staff. We only stayed in the hotel for one night but everything was okay.
The hotel is close to a large shopping center "Shopping Center Norte" where you can find everything including a lot of resaurantes etc. The hotel is also not very far away from the international airport in Guarulhos moreless 15 minutes with a cab.

I stayed at Novotel center norte twice, the last time in Dec 04
It is about 30mn from Guarulhos intl apt by cab and half way to the city center.
The location is not great, but a large shopping mall is 5 mn away, and safe to go by walk.
The hotel is modern, large, and elegant for a Novotel. Staff is helpfull, but service is often medium in european means. Rooms are large and very confortable, space is enough for 2 adults and 2 child (free of charge for child)
A spa, an hoted swimmng pool, and a sauna are provided in a very warm atmosphere.
Breakfast is great, with choices as often in Brazil. But food for lunch is poor and it is better to go to the Carrefour shopping mall next door to find a nice "churasscaria"
A business room with internet (expensive) is also provided
definitively a good place to stay

Very nice hotel for business travelers.
Rooms are clean and modern - shower head was great. "Safe deposit box" in room plus high-speed wired internet.
Staff was professional and courteous and spoke many languages.
Nice little coffee and beer bar in lobby. Was too busy to try the restaurant or breakfast cafe. I think there is a sushi restaurant on the premises too.
One morning, a yellow woodpecker became my alarm clock - as it was tapping at my window. Cool.
The location is not great - you would need a car to stay here - which we had.
Overall a nice hotel for business travelers.
