I spent one night at this Novotel during a business travel to London and I found it modern, comfortable, clean and very quiet despite the fact that it is located very close to the airport.
Compared to what I spent (around 160 EUR) I found it as a good balance between price and quality.

Have just returned from a 1 night stay at this hotel booked as part of a Legoland Package. From the first moment we arrived everything was easy. We were checked in by a friendly and efficient receptionist. Our room was clean, comfortable and had all the facilities we needed ( tea /coffee /TV/iron/hairdryer/minibar). We had a double bed and my 4 year old had a sofa bed that they had already made up for us (equivalent to a double bed). The beds were really comfortable! The only minor moan that we had was that our room didnt have an opening window ( not that we could find) and therefore it became a bit stuffy at times. We had a brilliant time at Legoland which is apx 10 minutes by car away. We didnt use the restaurant facilities in the evening so cant comment but can on the breakfast. This was fab, served in a lovely, comtemporary enviroment with soft chilled out music playing. There was everything to choose from, fresh fruits, yoghurts, cheese, pastries, full hot breakfast which was hot and fab! Toast, tea, coffee, smoothies, juice.... Best breakfast I've ever had in an English Hotel! The car park is ?8 per day which was included in our Legoland pass for the two days so was free for us. Just had to validate your ticket to exit the car park at reception before leaving ( as many times as you wanted). Swimming pool looked fab too although we didnt have time to use this sadly. We will definantly be returning to this hotel next year when we revisit Legoland. Would highly reccommend!

My partner and I stayed at the Novotel Heathrow for one night, before flying home to Portland, Oregon. It was the best airport hotel experience that we ever had ... and we travel quite a bit. The check-in staff is friendly, professional and very, very helpful. We got excellent information on how to use the subway (tube) from Heathrow, Terminal 3, to see Big Ben, the Parliament, Westminster Abbey, the London Eye, the Tower of London and the Tower bridge. The friendly staff at the desk wrote down detailed and accurate instructions for us to see as much as possible in the limited time that we had available. In the evening we had dinner at the Novotel; the dinner was delicious and the service gracious. The lighting at the atrium lobby gives the place a special feel. Our room was clean and modern as was the bathroom. This is an impressive 4-star hotel! We ordered a wake-up call for early next morning (like 3:30AM) which was prompt; ten minutes later came a reminder .. another call, to make sure we were up. We had also ordered a taxi for 4:20AM to take us to terminal 4, since the Hoppa bus does not operate that early. The taxi driver was already waiting for us in the lobby when we checked out. I can whole-heartedly suggest this hotel to anyone looking for a great stopover hotel experience at Heathrow.

I stayed here with my 2 kids (2 and 5) the night before our flight to SFO. The modern decor is bright and appealed to the kids. the room was large with a comfy sofa bed that the kids shared. The bathroom was beautiful with nice bath products and modern tub and innovative faucets that kept my kids amused. The hotel has a kids channel which showed programs until at least 11pm at night. Staff were friendly and helpful. I chose an inside room which was lovely and quiet but a little warm despite setting the thermostat to 0. Staff were not able to adjust it - my only problem. Next time we travel we plan to book a day room at the Novotel and go there as soon as we land at Heathrow to catch up on some sleep - my kids just can't get comfortable enough to sleep on planes. It also has a pool that we did not get to use. Great experience!

We thought we got a decent price and the location near the airport was good for us. As it turns out, the room was fine, quiet and clean-BUT we were charged a lot more than the quoted price and at one point, we had been promised we could pay in Euros only to get some crazy story by a hotel clerk the next day which resulted in an unnecessary large credit card purchase on our end.
I would say it's fine for the stay-but plan on paying more than you think.
