Stayed 1 night on returning from friends' wedding.
Everything you would like to expect from a big hotel chain - clean, tidy and well equipped rooms. Buffet style breakfast (included by booking online via hotel website and getting a great rate).
Location good for seeing Grand Place and easy access to metro to take you back to Gare du Midi.

Spent a long weekend at this hotel with 2 sons. Lobby area was clean and welcoming and receptionists were always very helpful. Security in the hotel is good with lifts and room safes controlled by room cards. When I reached the floor where my room was, I was thought the corridors were a bit drab and dingy however the room was spacious and clean - the sofa bed folded down into 2 separate single beds so great for bigger kids. Breakfast was included in the price I paid and kids stayed and ate free so well worth choosing that option on booking. The breakfast area was lovely - bright and clean with very helpful staff. There was also a playstation in the bar which went down well with my sons!
This hotel is extremely central and a stones throw from Central station (down past the Meridian Hotel) through an archway and ideal if you dont have transport. The Galleries Hubert are across from the hotel and Grand Place is along a short street. At the end of the Galleries Hubert is Rue de Bouchers which is entertaining and gives you a huge choice of eating places.
The only downside to being so central is the contact with some rather 'dodgy' people who are attracted to places where there are lots of tourists and we were approached by a few beggars but as long as you dealt with them firmly, they were no problem.
Its also quite noisy at the front (I had a room at the side and it was quite peaceful) but if you like the 'buzz' of a busy area you'll be happy.
I would recommend this hotel and would certainly choose it again if visiting Brussels.

A two night weekend stay in a room sleeping 3 adults. 260Euros
A bargain price for a clean comfortable room, with a great shower, and a bath.
The Hotel is "Just Off Grand Place" on a square with myriad cafe's which is just as well with Breakfast being 21euros.
The Bar is functional but not particularly friendly.
The security with the room cards securing the lifts was quite impressive.

I had some trouble locating this hotel, as I got turned around when leaving the Central Station. When you see LeMeridian, walk straight toward it and then veer to your left under an arch and go straight down the hill. Upon arriving (finally), I was not in the best mood, but that quickly changed when I was so warmly and courteously greeted by the front desk staff. The room was clean, comfortable and modern, and is in a perfect location. The only negative was that my room faced toward Grand Place and was somewhat noisy with the window open. Also remember there is a slight hill to go up when leaving if you are dealing with lots of luggage. Breakfast was one of the best of my trip with most extensive selection. Would recommend this hotel, and this chain in general, as I had a very good experience in London also.

when traveling in Europe first option for a hotel is Novotel. Hotels are always clean and comfortable. This hotels location is excellent. the staff are very friendly and speak good english. There are loads of restaurants nearby if you dont wish to have the breakfast. the location is what it says -off Grand Place. We were 2 couples in our Mid 20's and felt it was close and within walking distance to everything we wanted, shops, restaurants, pubs and clubs. enjoy your time in Brussels.
