We stayed two nights and only experienced reception and the room but both were good.
Reception was efficient and friendly.
The room (607) was a standard double on the 6th floor. There is a balcony and large opening window which is nice to air the room and step out for a few minutes. The view was of the street below and the Gare de Bercy but this is the centre of Paris.
The room was bigger than most we have sampled in Paris hotels, modern, comfortable and clean. Being part of a large chain, it's not going to be style-central but the room was actually far more pleasant than most of this type.
The bathroom and toilet are separate (nice) and there was both bath and good-sized shower cubicle. The sink was roomy and there is plenty of space to spread out your toiletries.
Best of all, the bed was comfortable and the room was kept very clean.
We booked via the Accor website and got a good non-flexible deal.
Breakfast at ?15,00 seemed too expensive (though standard in my experience) so we chose to eat at caf?s for half the price - which is always our preference anyway.
Very convenient for the Bercy m?tro station, POPB (palais Omnisport de Paris Bercy) and the Gare de Bercy and Gare de Lyon.
I'd stay here again for short trips and when passing through.

Very nice bathrooms and recently remodeled. We also stayed at The Sofitel in Bercy (which was superior) but Novotel is a premium hotel as well.
Quite close to 2 metro stops Bercy and St. Emillion (i believe) on the 14 (which is the new and automated line)

Mixed review for the Novotel Bercy
Guest name: Lipizzan, USA
I just spent 8 days at the Novotel Bercy hotel and was mostly satisfied but feel compelled to share a few details. First, if you're attending an event at Bercy as we were, the location cannot be beat. The hotel is adjacent to the arena and only a few steps from the Bercy metro stop on Paris' newest driverless metro line #14, the Meteor.
The good news: The room was the standard small French size but was well designed with thoughtful, space-saving details. The bathroom was great, with a large vanity, a shelf underneath the sink, and both a shower (fab water pressure) and a 3/4 size bathtub. The toilet was in a separate room which works well when you're sharing space. There was a tiny fridge and an electric water kettle in the room. The bed was firm and comfortable and the duvet was nice. The front desk staffed ranged from super nice and helpful to dour.
Now the bad news: The windows don't open; this, combined with the fact that the temperature control/fan didn't work meant that our room grew increasingly stuffy. We requested wake up calls on three consecutive days (both in person at the front desk and through the automated phone system) but never received one. Housekeeping was spotty: glasses and towels weren't always replaced; one day, the room wasn't cleaned at all. There is no free wifi or internet access for guests. I paid $10 euro for 45 minutes of internet access so, roughly, a dollar a minute. Finally, the hotel's standard policy is to add a standard $15 euro breakfast fee to each guest's daily bill. If you don't have the breakfast, you must ask that the costs be removed from your bill. This seems a rather sneaky procedure.
A very pleasant hotel

We stayed at Novotel for two nights last week as part of a package with tickets to see Bruce Springtsteen. We have a great time and found this hotel to be of a very high standard. The room was extremely clean and the staff were pleasant.
I would definitely recommend this hotel, especially if you are booking tickets for an event in the Bercy Stadium, which although very close to the hotel, didn't disturb us with any noise at all.
