Stayed here for a two night weekend in December, in order to travel into Lille to do the Christmas Markets.
Hotel was easy to find from the motorway and took about an hour from the Eurotunnel.
We were 2 adults and 2 children and the room had a double with a sofa that had a pull out bed underneath. Once these were made up they rather filled the room, but were perfectly adequate as we were only sleeping there.
Bathroom was clean and had a bath and good shower over it.
Hotel was situated near to a shopping complex with Toys R
Us, Decathlon and some other super markets. (all open Sunday)
We drove into Lille which took about 20 minutes, there is a train available nearby but we didn't use it. Instead chose to drive and didn't have any problems finding somewhere to park, even though it was very busy with pre Christmas tourists. I printed off a map from the internet and we managed to find our way without a problem.

Run-of-the mill Novotel a few yards from the Lille-Dunkerque motorway, in what in the circumstances is a surprisingly quiet location. It has a very ordinary restaurant that refuses to go off-menu even to the extent of a portion of plain rice. A word of warning; the beds a rock-hard and my back took several days to recover from a one-night stay. This hotel cannot have a particularly good reputation, as of all the many Accor Novotels/Mercures/Suiteotels in and around Lille, this is the most likely to have the lowest discounted price for any given date – even mid-week. At €49 a night, it is acceptable – if you don’t mind backache.

Stayed here for one night in the first weekend in December. Its about an hour from the Eurotunnel and very easy to find just off the A25. Its a typical Novotel - quite boxy and almost 1970s looking in its design. We had rooms on the ground floor and they smelt a little of smoke (to be fair we hadnt specified non smoking rooms) but not an overpowering stench. The bed was very firm and made for a great nights sleep and the bathroom was clean with a good shower. We used the hotel to go into Lille for the Xmas market and it took about 15 mins to drive into Lille itself. Its also near a Centre Commercial at Englos where there is an Auchan among other things and as it was open on a Sunday in the run up to Christmas we were able to do our shopping there.
