Stayed there for 5 nights. The room was clean and reasonably spacious. Services provided on a quite good level (only some very minor problems). Wifi access available only via orange telecom network but with some reasonably priced pre-paid coupons to be purchased at the reception desk. Buffet breakfasts varied mostly by the absence or presence of fruits but otherwise also reasonable for this class of the hotels. I booked the room via hotel web page that offered it with the rate of ca 90 euros per night (breakfast excluded). The price quoted at the entrance to the hotel (140 plus) would be a bit too much for the standard.

Stayed at the Mercure Montpellier for 4 nights. We took a double room. The AC was not working very well but we changed rooms and everything was fixed. The room is simple, clean, the bathroom as well and it's a pretty good size considering other small private hotels proposing very tiny rooms for the same price range. We got a very good deal on the Accor website. I would have never paid full rate though. We paid 80 Euro for a dble room, excl. tax and breakfast. Parking is available for 9 Euro a night and is very convenient. Place de la Comedie, the city center is just a 5 minutes walk from the hotel. I would recommend it if you manage to get the same rate.

J’ai trouvé que les hôtels Mercure constituent un choix sûr et celui-ci n’y faisait pas exception. Les chambres sont propres, spacieuses, suffisamment bien équipées pour répondre à la plupart de vos désirs. Elles sont parfaites pour nous. Le restaurant de l’hôtel vaut vraiment qu’on le mentionne : la cuisine y est très bonne et les vins locaux valent vraiment la peine d’être goûtés ! Cet hôtel est assez bien situé, assez proche du centre en tout cas pour bien en profiter.
